Renesas Electronics is seeking a motivated Sr Product Engineer to join our Austin-based team supporting the development and production of advanced semiconductor power products. This role offers the opportunity to work on technologies including power management ICs, smart power stages, and related solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams to support new product introduction (NPI), qualification, and high-volume production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on product engineering activities across the full lifecycle, including silicon bring-up, characterization, qualification, production release, and sustaining
  • Root cause analysis and resolution of complex product, test, and manufacturing issues
  • Drive improvements in yield, test efficiency, product performance, and cost of quality
  • Define and execute characterization and qualification strategies to ensure robust product release
  • Partner with design and test engineering teams to optimize DFT, test coverage, and correlation (bench vs ATE vs system)
  • Work on cross-functional efforts to resolve customer issues and field escalations
  • Analyze yield, parametric, and reliability data to identify trends and drive corrective actions
  • Influence product, test, and manufacturing decisions through strong technical judgment and data-driven insights
