We9re hiring a Senior Product Designer to take end-to-end ownership of key product experiences across our iOS and Android apps (and occasionally web). This is a senior individual contributor role with meaningful autonomy and influence. Your primary focus will be creating distinctive, sapphic-first experiences that clearly differentiate HER in the dating market - while directly supporting rapid active user growth and a strong focus on revenue performance. You9ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Leadership to shape what we build, why we build it, and how it performs in the real world.
How you9ll make an impact:- End-to-End Product Design
- Own design for complex product areas from discovery through launch and iteration, including both engagement and revenue-focused designs
- Translate ambiguous, high-impact problems into clear user journeys, flows, and interfaces
- Balance user experience, speed of execution, and business impact
- Sapphic Differentiation & Experience Design
- Design experiences that feel unmistakably HER - rooted in sapphic culture, joy, intimacy, and community
- Push beyond generic dating patterns to create features users can9t get elsewhere
- Ensure HER9s product experience remains emotionally resonant, culturally specific, and market-differentiated
- Apply and evolve HER9s design system and brand expression
- Experimentation & Measurement
- Design experiments and A/B tests in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and DataIterate based on performance data and qualitative insight
- Use learning from experiments to inform future design decisions
- Prototyping & Validation
- Create prototypes at varying levels of fidelity to explore, align, and validate ideas
- Support regular user testing to de-risk solutions before build
- Clearly communicate design intent and rationale to cross-functional partners
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Managers to shape roadmaps and scope work
- Partner with Engineering to ship high-quality experiences efficiently
- Present work confidently to leadership and incorporate feedback without losing clarity or direction

We could be a Match if:- You have 7+ years designing consumer digital products (mobile-first experience required).
- You have proven experience owning design for features used by large audiences.
- You have strong interaction design, visual design, and UX fundamentals.
- You have experience working within and contributing to a design system.
- You are comfortable operating in fast-moving, evolving product environments.
- You have a portfolio demonstrating both craft and business impact.
- Bonus points if you have experience with: Subscription or freemium products
- You have dating or network based platform experience.
- You have experience designing for identity-led or emotionally nuanced use cases.
- You engage directly with users to inform your design direction and decisions in the form of user surveys, unmoderated prototype testing, and user interviews.
- You take ownership and follow things through
- You9re opinionated but open - strong ideas, loosely held.
- You care deeply about how your work performs after launch.
- You9re comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy shaping problems, not just executing solutions.
- You believe great design should serve both users and the business.
$160,000 - $180,000 a year
Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate9s work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of New York, NY. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
