A Typical Day
Lead the creation and optimization of business process tools and system solutions. Oversee and enhance business intelligence tools that support proprietary mortgage origination systems. Engage with cross-functional teams to develop solutions through technological processes through gathering business and technical requirements. Develop data driven strategies, KPIs, and performance metrics to evaluate process efficiency, user adoption, and business impact. Review and interpret technical API documentation to determine integration feasibility and system dependencies. Conduct test cases for third party integrations for business intelligence tools, utilizing various platform configurations to validate compatibility and performance across different scenarios. Analyze large datasets using advanced Excel features, including pivot tables and complex formulas to troubleshoot issues and data discrepancies. Conduct system and business process analysis and create design documents. Design solutions for business functionality and develop prototypes to obtain feedback and reiterate until a streamlined finalized solution is achieved. Direct product deployment activities, enhancement planning, and post release monitoring to ensure system stability and user adoption. Lead QA initiatives and perform testing to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency across system deliverables. Conduct risk assessments using methods to identify risk, probability, impact and introduce ways to mitigate those risks. Define, establish, communicate and manage development quality and team collaboration. Identify and mitigate potential bugs using different approaches like peer reviews, User acceptance testing and Business acceptance testing.
What You’ll Bring
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Data Analytics or related field, plus one (1) year of post-baccalaureate experience as a Product Analyst, Business Support Analyst or in a related position in the mortgage lending industry. Experience must include: MISMO (Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization) data structure, LOS (Loan Origination System) E2E design, Snowflake, Excel with VBA SQL, and Python.
