Analyze business objectives, enterprise customer needs, product adoption inhibitors and opportunities, industry trends, and based on these, in close collaboration with your stakeholders, define a long-term strategy and roadmap for your platform and product components.
Analyze architectural bottlenecks to define the long-term technical strategy and multi-year roadmaps for core Sales, Commerce & Finance systems (e.g., billing engine, quoting/CPQ, subscriptions, and platform APIs).
Translate complex quote-to-cash business models and compliance/financial requirements into clear, prioritized technical system problems and architecture roadmaps.
Define and lead high-impact, cross-organizational technical programs (e.g., enterprise billing modernization, legacy platform migrations, high availability, and SOX/financial controls). Identify product gaps and/or define specific systems programs and create a plan of action for realizing that strategy. Such programs could be around capacity planning, cloud services, product experience redesign or new product development work.
Use your technical understanding of Atlassian and related systems to partner with and influence engineers and architects in making progress on these problems.
Responsible for taking a systematic approach to engineering problems. This includes: prioritizing tasks, scoping out the project, defining objectives, and making consistent progress against each of these.
Be accountable for the success of these initiatives from concept to planning, execution and adoption
Partner with and influence UX Designers, Principal Engineers, Architects, and Engineering Directors to shape experience, system flows, API designs, and scalable platform integrations.
Lead cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Product, Finance, Tax, Billing Ops, and GTM to understand and prioritize user problems and ensure seamless execution and risk mitigation.
Drive operational excellence and predictable delivery across multi-quarter programs with structured governance, transparent metrics, and dependency management.
Mentor and elevate the Technical Program Management craft across the organization.

Pay Ranges
In The United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $235,800 - $307,850
Zone B: $212,220 - $277,065
Zone C: $195,714 - $255,516
