• Define solution architecture that bridges business objectives with scalable technical designs for Teamcenter PLM implementations.
• Translate complex business requirements into structured, process-aligned solution designs using multi-product and multi-industry expertise.
• Demonstrate deep technical expertise in PLM architecture, including workflows, APIs, runtime characteristics, design limitations, and maintenance requirements, and leverage data-driven insights to influence priorities and strategy.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to dive deep into requirements and business processes, proposing optimized solutions that align technical capabilities with business objectives.
• Collaborate with implementation teams to drive quality solution delivery and validate that designs meet technical standards and business requirements
• Provide architectural direction on design options and chart roadmaps for future scalability.
• Ensure technical integrity throughout the project lifecycle and validate component interoperability to deliver measurable business value.
• Manage expectations and maintain alignment between solutions and customers' long-term vision.
• Lead process design, integration, and change activities at customer sites and internally.
• Apply relevant templates, frameworks, and methodologies to ensure efficient and repeatable delivery.
• Present complex technical information clearly to stakeholders including Directors and VPs.
• Participate in hiring and mentor team members to continuously improve their skills and ability to deliver results.
A day in the life
As a PLM Solution Architect, you bridge technical excellence with customer success. You partner with cross-functional teams to dive deep into requirements and business processes, translating complex needs into scalable PLM architectures. You collaborate with implementation teams to validate solution designs, ensuring they meet technical standards and business requirements while providing architectural direction on integration patterns and workflow configurations. Throughout the day, you present complex technical information to stakeholders ranging from engineering teams to Directors and VPs, managing expectations and maintaining alignment between solutions and customers' long-term vision.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems, or experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
- Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team, or experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Undergraduate degree, or experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and working cross-functionally
- Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- 5+ years of full product life cycle experience
- Experience in Design/Innovation, research & development, manufacturing, process, industrial engineering, or related work
- Experience building and operating a cloud-based architecture
- Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits), or experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience with Siemens Teamcenter platform
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
