Job Description

The Sr Planner, Americas executes the day-to-day financial planning work for assigned categories or channels within the region. This role owns the OTB files, the weekly reporting, and the allocation and replenishment execution that keeps regional inventory on plan. Managers are the operational core of the regional planning team.

This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.

What Will You Be Doing?
  • Managing plan vs. performance on a 9-12 month rolling basis at the region, B/G, dept, and channel levels. Reading and reacting to successes and opportunities
  • Developing actions to stay on plan & operate within the Open to Buy and margin structure set by Global Planning; recommend kitty spend & manage
  • Ordering and allocating inventory
  • Transportation calls within air spend
  • Outlet and aged inventory decisions including redline, Mark Out of Stock, and new hits
  • SKU count management and discipline
  • Promotional decisions including calendar review, performance analysis, and AUR adjustments based on actions
  • Tying out item plans and higher-level plans
  • Wholesale & franchise performance vs. expectations


What Do You Need to Bring?
  • 6+ years in retail or wholesale planning
  • Hands-on experience with Open to Buy management, allocation, and replenishment execution
  • Exposure to wholesale or franchise planning preferred
  • Proficiency with planning systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Technical precision - build and maintains financial models that are accurate and well-organized
  • Execution-orientation- manage allocation and replenishment processes with discipline
  • Ability to spot inventory performance trends and escalates deviations proactively
  • Ability to work well with buying team and channel partners
