Full Job Description
As Sr. Operational Excellence Consultant, you will be a key member of the Operations Excellence team, supporting enterprise-wide initiatives that improve how the organization operates, scales, and delivers value to customers and employees. This role will report to the SVP, Operational Excellence and will work cross-functionally across the organization, with especially close collaboration with Operations and People & Culture.

What you'll do:

The Operations Excellence team is focused on four core pillars: Customer Experience, Employee Experience, Operations Enablement, and Strategic Growth. Sr. Operations Excellence Consultant will help translate these priorities into actionable programs, scalable processes, and measurable outcomes that support business performance and organizational maturity.

This individual should be a highly organized, collaborative, and analytical operator who can move fluidly between strategy and execution. They will be responsible for supporting operational improvement initiatives, driving cross-functional alignment, enabling change management, and helping build the infrastructure needed for sustainable growth, including merger and acquisition readiness and integration support.

Operations Excellence & Program Execution
  • Support the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide Operations Excellence initiatives, translating strategic priorities into actionable workplans, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
  • Manage cross-functional projects, process improvements, tools, documentation, and operating rhythms that increase scalability, consistency, accountability, and business performance.

Customer Experience
  • Partner with Operations and customer-facing teams to identify friction points, improve service delivery, and strengthen consistency, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support the development of customer experience metrics, feedback loops, and action plans that drive measurable improvements.

Employee Experience
  • Collaborate with People & Culture and operational leaders to improve employee-facing processes, communications, onboarding, role clarity, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support change management and adoption efforts to ensure operational changes are clearly communicated, understood, and embedded across teams.

Operations Enablement
  • Develop and improve scalable processes, systems, governance structures, playbooks, workflows, and reporting mechanisms that support operational maturity.
  • Support M&A readiness and integration activities, including operational due diligence, integration planning, process alignment, workstream coordination, risk tracking, and post-close execution.

Strategic Growth
  • Support strategic initiatives that help the organization scale, enter new markets, integrate new capabilities, or improve business performance.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
  • Build strong relationships across Operations, People & Culture, Finance, Growth, Delivery, Technology, and executive leadership to drive alignment and accountability.


What you'll need to succeed:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, organizational development, human resources, management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in operations, business transformation, program management, consulting, employee experience, customer experience, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Strong understanding of operational processes, organizational effectiveness, change management, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Experience developing executive-level materials, project plans, process documentation, dashboards, or operating reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize information and recommend practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, ownership, and follow-through.

This position is designated as essential personnel supporting continuity of operations and may require work during government shutdowns, emergencies, or other critical situations.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
  • The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
  • The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
  • Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
  • This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
    • Performance-based bonuses
    • Company-paid training and/or certifications
    • Referral bonuses
