Job Summary
This position plans and carries out broad assignments with responsibility for recommending changes in methods, procedures or policies. Incumbent conducts the development of each assignment, may coordinate manpower assigned to each activity, and assesses current and upcoming regulatory policy to determine the impact on the functional area.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities
  • Analyze data and evaluate performance of systems, equipment, work activities, and programs within area of expertise and uses expertise to solve problems and recommend corrective action
  • Evaluate industry proposals, regulations and guidelines to determine impact to plant activities, programs and processes
  • Prepare materials and conduct training on standard and new procedures and processes
  • Determine and recommend courses of corrective action to address existing and emerging situations
  • Serves as a technical subject matter expertise within defined area of expertise
  • Plan and coordinate activities as needed to achieve specified scopes of work assigned
  • Coordinate manpower and work activities as needed
  • Coordinate and Track Engineering Changes through completion and closeout, working closely with Document Control and Engineering.
  • Coordinate and process revisions of Vendor Manuals.
  • Support Part 21 Evaluations and related documentation.
  • CMIS DP user support, fulfilling access requests.


Education, Experience & Skill Requirements
  • 10-12 years equivalent related work nuclear experience in area of technical expertise
  • Demonstrated knowledge in nuclear-related activities which require knowledge of plant systems and processes
  • Technical expertise within assigned discipline
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of regulations, codes, standards, policies and procedures pertinent to the area of assigned expertise
  • Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills
