We're seeking a dynamic, client-facing IT professional who blends the practical expertise of a Help Desk Engineer with the strategic insight of a seasoned Systems Administrator. The ideal candidate approaches projects like a Project Engineer, structured, thorough, and results-driven while bringing the depth and perspective of a veteran IT Consultant who has seen it all.
Key Responsibilities - Client Consulting: Provide expert guidance and hands-on execution of a wide range of IT solutions aligned with modern business needs.
- Microsoft 365 Leadership: Specialize in Microsoft 365 environments with a focus on advanced security, compliance, identity and access management, enterprise mobility, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Cloud Migrations: Design, plan, and execute seamless migrations from on-premises systems to cloud platforms, accommodating both simple and complex infrastructures.
- Infrastructure Design: Analyze existing networks and architect optimized, secure, and scalable IT environments that enhance productivity and connectivity.
- Security & Compliance: Lead IT assessments and implement comprehensive security frameworks and policies.
- Project Execution: Navigate complex technical challenges with confidence, leveraging your certifications and real-world experience to deliver results under pressure.
Required Qualifications - Minimum 7 years of IT experience in consulting, systems administration, or infrastructure roles.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and networking.
- Proven success in leading IT projects from conception through implementation.
- Hands-on experience with both on-premises and cloud-based environments.
Certifications
- Azure certifications strongly preferred.
- Additional Microsoft and networking certifications are a plus.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Skills - Deep technical proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Strong understanding of network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Clear and confident communicator with strong documentation and presentation skills.
- Effective project management and leadership abilities.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
