Job Summary-
The Senior Manager, Investor Relations is a key partner to the VP of IR & ESG in shaping how UGI engages with the investment community. The role owns the analytical backbone of the IR function - valuation modeling, peer benchmarking, and market intelligence - while playing a central role in quarterly earnings, investor targeting, ESG communications, and Board reporting. Success requires strong financial acumen and communication skills, and the ability to translate complex business performance into a clear and compelling investment narrative. The role partners across Finance, Legal, Communications, and the business units to ensure the investment community has the information needed to value UGI accurately and consistently.
Essential Functions-
Investor Relations Activities
- Quarterly Earnings, Financial & Board Reporting
- Build consensus models and variance analyses vs. sell-side estimates
- Support the drafting of earnings release, prepared remarks, Q&A, and conference call deck
- Coordinate webcast logistics and post-call feedback summaries
- Assist with preparation of board materials for the annual investor relations update.
- Investor & Analyst Engagement
- Support the management of relationships with sell-side analysts and institutional investors
- Coordinate non-deal roadshows, conferences, and investor day
- Lead investor targeting and prepare briefing books for management
- Market Intelligence & Valuation Analysis
- Maintain internal valuation model and peer benchmarking framework
- Track ownership shifts, analyst sentiment, and activist activity
- Translate market intelligence into recommendations for VP of IR
- IR Infrastructure & Cross-Functional Support
- Manage IR website, CRM, and external vendors
- Contribute to annual report, proxy, and Board materials
ESG
- Support annual sustainability report and climate disclosures
- Partner with ESG team on data integrity and messaging
Analyze ESG-related investor inquiries and prepare data-driven responses
Other
- Develop strong relationships within the Finance org as well as cross-functional teams including Communications, Legal, Marketing, and our Business Units whose functions are important to UGI's public positioning.
- Support the Finance organization in the preparation of internal and external materials to facilitate management discussion and analysis, and presentation to the board.
- Design and build scalable analytical frameworks, financial models, and reporting tools to serve IR, ESG and other Finance needs
Perform ad hoc quantitative analyses for the VP and senior leadership on topics including capital allocation, shareholder returns, market trends, and ESG performance
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities-
A sound understanding of business affairs, financial and investment markets, and securities regulations.
Strong financial and investment analysis skills, including robust financial modeling expertise.
Demonstrated strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Advanced PowerPoint knowledge and skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a diverse work group involving significant outside contacts.
Ability to advance projects independently.
Minimum Qualifications-
Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting, MBA preferred
8 years professional exp in investments, corporate finance or relevant function
CFA or CPA preferred
