The impact you'll makeThe Office of Digital Transformation at Lam Research is responsible for the creation of next generation business processes and accelerated adoption of technology across the company. The Idea to Retire (ITR), End to End (E2E), Digital Transformation Lead is a unique opportunity to transform a market leading semiconductor company to scale for future growth at an unprecedented time in our industry. We are looking for people with blended experience in product development as well as technology-based transformation in product development process.
What you'll do- Transform the way Lam uses connected digital tools and systems to empower our employees with better tools and data for maximum efficiency, lead vision with future state solutions, and getting cross-functional alignments.
- Deep working knowledge of product portfolio management, laboratory systems, product lifecycle management, MBE/MBSE, virtual build.
- Deep understanding of business process from concept to commercialize (NPI) and demonstrated experience in delivering market leading products combined with technology implementation to support streamlining end to product cycle process.
- Driving practical applications of MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering), digital twins to accelerate product development to drive scale and efficiencies.
- Deep knowledge of using tools and implementation experience in technology platforms like Siemens NX, Cadence, Zuken (CAD), Teamcenter (PLM), SAP etc.
- Deep experience driving companies through engineer to order and configure to order process, delivering simplified product options architecture.
- Deep vision on transforming engineering and product organizations (shift left) to design and deliver high quality products using best practices.
- Working as a partner to lead transformation projects and collaborating with Idea to Retire and other cross functional teams including Quoting, Manufacturing, Quality management, IT (Information Technology) and business teams and external suppliers/vendors as needed to drive process changes and adoption.
- Experience in implementing technology platforms to bring about change, higher levels of digital adoption, look for best and most efficient ways to implement transformation.
- Experience in integrating AI and ML technologies into product development life cycle, leading to real time analytics, predictive modelling, enhanced decision making leading to speed to market.
Who we're looking for- Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related field.MBA or master's preferred but not required.
- 10+ years of proven experience in operations consulting, strong knowledge of operational processes, systems and tools, and improvement initiatives including experience in process digitalization and digital transformation in leading/fast growth companies.
- Need a team player who can deal with ambiguity and rapid changes in ideas.
- Experience in market analytics for new tools and process improvements for complex, high growth companies.
- Storyteller with an ability to drive organizational change management.
- Consistently shows exponential thinking and incremental execution.
- Functional knowledge of business process design for quote-to-cash including Item, BOM, product configuration, price analytics, and approvals.
- Deep knowledge driving NPI processes leading to accurate configuration, pricing especially for engineer to order scenarios.
- Understanding of best practices in the industry and application to real life.
- Proficient knowledge of the systems implementation and development life cycles.
- Deep understanding of cross functional business processes and connectivity.
- Demonstrates a growth mindset and has an eye to the art of the possible Influences and drives change by driving partnerships and alignment across the orgs.
Preferred qualifications- Experience in consulting firm
- Experience in high growth, complex companies.
- AI-Machine Learning concepts and experience with ML technology.
- Experience with SAP preferred or other ERP.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

SalaryCA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $132,000.00 - $276,000.00.
The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
