This position will be working onsite from Miami.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Manager, Brand Marketing, leads high-visibility brand, advertising, content, and integrated marketing initiatives for Royal Caribbean. This role elevates senior account leadership into broader management ownership across strategy, creative development, financial stewardship, production oversight, cross-functional alignment, agency management, performance measurement, and team development. The Senior Manager translates business priorities, consumer insights, product updates, cultural trends, and performance learnings into strategies, briefs, campaign plans, and measurable programs that strengthen brand relevance, improve awareness and consideration, drive meaningful engagement, and support long-term brand and business growth. Working and collaborating with internal and external team members, the person in this position must thrive in working with others and creating an inspiring environment that fosters contribution and connection.
This role is ideal for someone who can move seamlessly between strategic leadership and executional excellence-setting direction, aligning stakeholders, inspiring creative teams, developing talent, managing resources, and ensuring the work is strategically grounded, creatively strong, financially responsible, and delivered with operational discipline.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Brand, Campaign and Creative Development
• Lead the strategic development of breakthrough brand, advertising, content, and integrated marketing work that supports product priorities, business objectives, cultural relevance, and broader brand storytelling.
• Translate consumer insights, market trends, competitive learnings, product updates, performance data, and brand positioning into clear strategies, creative briefs, campaign platforms, and actionable creative direction.
• Guide the development of high-impact campaigns and content from brief through final delivery, ensuring work is strategically sound, creatively distinctive, operationally feasible, and aligned to brand standards.
• Champion brand clarity across visual identity, voice, messaging, creative platforms, campaign expression, and content ecosystems, developing tools, guidelines, and frameworks that enable consistency and scalability.
Strategic Planning, Leadership and Performance
• Annual, seasonal, and initiative-level brand marketing planning, ensuring priorities are grounded in audience strategy, channel considerations, clear KPIs, commercial impact, and opportunities to strengthen awareness, consideration, engagement, and brand relevance.
• Provide direction across planning, prioritization, timing, resource allocation, and campaign integration to ensure marketing efforts contribute to brand health, audience engagement, demand generation, revenue contribution, and long-term brand equity.
• Develop strategic recommendations that clarify the role each initiative plays in the broader marketing plan, from brand building and cultural relevance to demand generation, conversion support, or loyalty.
• Lead strategic planning conversations that connect product priorities, audience opportunities, media approach, creative ambition, partnership potential, and business performance into a cohesive plan.
• Prepare leadership-ready updates, strategic recommendations, and decision-making materials that clearly communicate progress, risks, insights, investment needs, performance learnings, and opportunities to optimize future work.
Project Management, Workflow and Operational Excellence
• Oversee complex, high-volume workstreams across campaigns, content, productions, activations, and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring timelines, deliverables, approvals, risks, budgets, milestones, and next steps are clearly managed.
• Build and improve operating processes that strengthen briefing, project intake, creative reviews, stakeholder communication, legal coordination, rights management, trafficking, approvals, campaign delivery, and post-campaign recaps.
• Resolve issues and roadblocks quickly and collaboratively, helping teams make informed decisions while maintaining momentum, quality, and accountability.
• Ensure work is organized, documented, and managed through appropriate project management systems, status reporting, communication routines, and performance-learning documentation.
Agency, Stakeholder and Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Serve as a senior brand marketing lead for agency partners, internal creative teams, production partners, and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring alignment on strategy, scope, timing, deliverables, feedback, approvals, desired audience impact, and business outcomes.
• Lead productive communications with senior stakeholders, including kickoffs, strategic reviews, creative presentations, status updates, feedback discussions, decision meetings, and post-campaign performance conversations.
• Collaborate across Brand, Creative, Media, Analytics, Legal, Finance, Revenue, Sales, Product, Social, PR, and other business units to identify opportunities to extend the value, reach, engagement, and impact of brand initiatives.
• Provide clear, constructive, and strategically grounded feedback to creative and production teams while creating a positive, solutions-oriented environment.
Production and Content Capture
• Oversea brand contribution to the pre-production and post-production development including scope, budgets, shot needs, production plans, talent needs, rights considerations, review timelines, creative feedback, and final asset delivery.
• Guide or mentor team members leading on-location decision-making during productions, ensuring captured content aligns with campaign strategy, brand standards, usage needs, creative requirements, and business priorities.
• Support a broad range of content outputs, including advertising assets, short-form content, long-form content, social-first creative, experiential assets, and integrated campaign deliverables.
Team Leadership and Development
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members by setting clear expectations, coaching strategic and creative judgment, strengthening project leadership skills, and creating accountability for high-quality delivery and measurable progress.
• Help evolve team capabilities from executional delivery to proactive brand leadership, encouraging curiosity, collaboration, inclusion, ownership, continuous improvement, and the use of learnings to improve future work.
• Provide guidance to direct reports and dotted-line partners on briefs, stakeholder management, creative feedback, production planning, budget management, and executive communication.
• Performs other duties as required.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for leading budget planning and financial stewardship across assigned campaigns, productions, content initiatives, partnerships, and agency scopes of work. This includes managing budgets, forecasts, estimates, purchase orders, invoices, reconciliation, vendor coordination, scope, spend pacing, and resource tradeoff recommendations. The Senior Manager is expected to evaluate whether investments are delivering the intended brand and business outcomes and recommend where to scale, optimize, reallocate, or stop spending based on performance and strategic value.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, business, or related field required.
• 8+ years of progressive marketing experience in a brand marketing organization, advertising agency, integrated marketing team, or related creative environment.
• 5+ years of experience leading brand strategy, integrated campaign development, creative development, content marketing, production, or consumer brand management.
• Experience managing or developing people, including coaching direct reports, guiding cross-functional contributors, and building team capabilities.
• Experience managing agency relationships, senior stakeholders, creative development processes, integrated campaigns, and cross-functional marketing initiatives.
• Experience managing marketing budgets, production budgets, agency scopes of work, estimates, invoices, purchase orders, reconciliation, and financial tradeoff decisions.
• Experience with photo, video, content production, social-first creative, brand activations, experiential marketing, or large-scale content capture preferred.
• Product marketing experience preferred but not required.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• Strong understanding of brand marketing, integrated marketing, advertising, creative strategy, content development, and 360-degree campaign execution.
• Ability to translate business priorities, consumer insights, performance data, cultural trends, and product updates into clear strategies, creative briefs, campaign plans, and leadership-ready recommendations.

• Working knowledge of photo, video, and content production workflows, including pre-production, production, post-production, usage needs, rights considerations, and asset delivery.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with project management, digital asset management, workflow, reporting, or collaboration systems.
• Professional demeanor, creative curiosity, strategic judgment, and a proactive approach to improving process, quality, team performance, and brand impact.

TRAVEL:
  • Travel is required for agency meetings, productions, brand activations, ship visits, content capture, and other business needs throughout the year. Productions may require extended time on location, including approximately 7-10 days or more depending on scope.
