POSITION CONCEPT The Sr Manager, ADI Process Architecture plays a critical leadership role in the successful delivery of ADI Release 2 (R2) by serving as the primary business lead responsible for aligning scope, schedule, and business outcomes across the program while overseeing the Product Owner team. This role partners closely with Technical, Project Management Office (PMO), Integration, and Change teams to ensure the delivered solutions meet business needs and that the organization is fully prepared for go-live. Accountable for business readiness, stakeholder alignment, and solution adoption, ensuring that ADI R2 capabilities (EAM/WMS, GIS, Design Tools, and related systems) are effectively implemented to support TECO's operational transformation. The role drives decision-making facilitates cross-functional collaboration and ensures alignment between technology delivery and business priorities.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Serve as the primary business lead for R2, owning business scope, priorities, and decision-making. Partner with ADI leadership to align R2 delivery with TECO's strategic objectives and operational goals. Drive clarity on business requirements, outcomes, and success criteria across all R2 workstreams. Act as the escalation point for business-related issues, risks, and decisions. (25%)
- Partner with PMO and Technical leadership to ensure alignment of scope, schedule, and deliverables. Ensure business requirements are translated into executable solutions and validated through delivery phases. Support PI Planning, milestone readiness, and go-live decision processes. Monitor progress and ensure business commitments are met across build, test, and deployment phases. (20%)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Electric Delivery, Operations, Finance, IT, and other functional areas. Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and ADI delivery teams. Lead stakeholder communications and ensure transparency on program progress, risks, and decisions. (15%)
- Own business readiness for R2 go-live, including process alignment, training, and operational preparedness. Partner with Business Change and Training Leads to ensure effective adoption of new tools and processes. Validate that business units are prepared for system changes and process transitions. (15%)
- Collaborate with Technical Manager, Integration Lead, Data Leads, and Test Lead to ensure solutions meet business needs. Align with vendors (e.g., IFS, ESRI, and others) and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery. Support resolution of cross-functional dependencies and integration challenges. Identify opportunities to improve business processes through R2 capabilities. Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance ADI outcomes. Promote standardization and best practices across business processes. (15%)
- Provide business input into governance forums, including RAID management (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies).Ensure accurate and timely reporting of business readiness, risks, and progress. Support executive-level updates and decision-making through clear and concise communication. (10%)
SUPERVISION Direct Supervision: Project resources, business analysts, and functional SMEs (as assigned)
Indirect Supervision: Cross-functional project teams, consultants, vendors, and stakeholders
RELATIONSHIPS Key Internal: Electric Delivery, IT, Finance, Procurement, Legal, HR, Safety, Cybersecurity, ADI Program Leadership, TEC Executive Leadership
Key External: Consultants, system vendors (e.g., IFS, ESRI), contractors, and industry partners
QUALIFICATIONS Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
Preferred: Master's Degree (MBA, Engineering Management, or related discipline)
Related Experience Required: 8 years of experience in utility operations. Experience working in cross-functional, technology-driven transformations.
Preferred: Large-scale program or project delivery, Experience with ERP/EAM, GIS, or enterprise system implementations.
Supervisory Experience Required: 3 years of leadership, project management, or program delivery experience.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES (KSA) Required: - Strong understanding of business processes and operational workflows
- Ability to translate business needs into technology-enabled solutions
- Experience with program governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement
- Strong communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels
Preferred: - Familiarity with EAM/WMS, GIS, or utility systems
