Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in manufacturing environments.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for 2D & 3D drawing creation.
• Strong understanding of Kaizen principles and experience in applying process improvements.
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills in complex manufacturing equipment problems.
• Ability to manage projects effectively from conception to completion, including cost estimation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering projects from initiation to completion, including scheduling and budgeting.
• Evaluate and recommend modifications to manufacturing equipment for improved efficiency and reliability.
• Design and oversee fabrication of new parts and replacements as needed.
• Create detailed mechanical and layout drawings using industry-standard software.
• Conduct hands-on troubleshooting to identify root causes of equipment problems and implement solutions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for production lines and assist with maintenance tasks.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation and reports for project approvals and procedural updates.
