Senior Manufacturing Engineer - OnsiteEast Longmeadow, MA USA The Job: As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be part of our Operations team working as an onsite employee. You'll get to:
- Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Review and improve existing manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Ensure that equipment, processes, and tooling, operate at satisfactory levels.
- Perform process capability studies.
- Identify and implement safety and productivity improvements.
- Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives that support continuous process improvements.
- Document work standards and instructions.
- Investigate production concerns. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Identify new equipment, processes, and tooling. Oversee procurement, plant layout, installations, and validations.
- Initiate capital budget requests. Plan, justify, and implement manufacturing proposals.
- Participate in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs.
- Ensure compliance with all EH&S policies as defined by Stanley Black & Decker, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies.
- Work cohesively within our team environment, participating in various projects and events to support the Plant's needs.
- Engage with personnel from other departments and disciplines to successfully drive and complete tasks.

- 5+ years relevant engineering experience
- Related experience with process equipment, steel machining and welding
- Skilled in hands on equipment troubleshooting and process improvements
- Excellent project management skills
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office software and CAD

The Salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $144,900.00
