As Senior Manager, Trust Strategy & Operations - New Platforms, you will lead the strategy and execution for scaling trust across eBay's ecosystem by enabling new businesses, platforms, and strategic initiatives to leverage eBay's trust capabilities. You will assess trust readiness, identify capability gaps, define shared trust strategies, and lead cross-functional implementation in partnership with Trust, Risk, Compliance, Product, Engineering, Legal, and business leaders across eBay and its subsidiaries.

Success in this role depends on your ability to build trusted partnerships, influence across organizational boundaries, and drive alignment among diverse stakeholders. Working closely with subsidiary leadership and cross-functional partners, you will bring structure to ambiguous opportunities, gain buy-in, and translate strategy into execution at speed.

This role is ideal for a strategic leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys solving complex business challenges while scaling trust across eBay's ecosystem.

  • Shape the long-term strategy and roadmap for scalable trust capabilities across eBay's core and new platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to extend existing trust capabilities to new businesses while reducing duplicated investment.
  • Develop business cases and partner with Trust leadership to prioritize future shared trust investments.

Own high-priority Trust projects from strategy to execution
  • Lead multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously, balancing strategic thinking with rapid execution.
  • Bring structure to ambiguous opportunities by defining clear strategies, operating models, execution plans, and success metrics.
  • Establish operating models, governance forums, and execution mechanisms that drive alignment, accelerate decisions, and remove execution barriers.
  • Identify emerging trust opportunities and recommend scalable solutions that strengthen marketplace integrity while enabling growth.

Cross-functional and team leadership
  • Build strong relationships across eBay, its subsidiaries, and executive stakeholders, establishing Trust as a strategic partner.
  • Influence cross-functional partners to build alignment, establishing clear ownership and accountability, and ensuring successful delivery across cross-functional teams.
  • Build and mentor a high performing team of strategist and program leaders.

What you'll bring
  • Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in eCommerce, Trust and Safety, Strategy & Operations, Management Consulting, or related fields, with progressive leadership responsibility.
  • Strategic & Program Leadership: Demonstrated success defining long-term strategy, evaluating competing priorities and trade-offs, and driving execution across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
