Full Job Description
About the Role

Suno believes that Music is a Human Right, a vehicle for community, connection, healing, and learning. The Sr. Manager, Social Impact & Education ensures that Suno lives up to our belief.

This is a new role, an opportunity to define, build, and lead Suno's presence in two critically important spaces: the nonprofit and social impact community, and the educational institutions and platforms that are shaping how the next generation engages with music and technology. You will create the frameworks, forge the partnerships, and establish the practices that allow Suno to make a meaningful and lasting impact beyond the commercial platform.

You are a mission-driven operator: someone who knows how to translate big-picture vision into concrete programs, build trust with organizations that have high standards for the partners they choose, and move with the urgency and creativity that a fast-growing technology company demands. You believe that access to creative tools is a form of equity, and you want to spend your career proving it. This role initially reports to the Chief Music Officer.

What You'll Do
Social Impact & Nonprofit Partnerships
  • Develop and own Suno's social impact strategy, establishing a clear point of view on the communities, causes, and organizations we exist to serve
  • Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with nonprofits, community arts organizations, and mission-aligned institutions where Suno can have genuine, measurable impact
  • Design and manage partnership structures, including platform access programs, co-branded initiatives, and grant or donation frameworks, that make Suno meaningfully accessible to underserved communities
  • Serve as Suno's primary relationship manager for social impact partners, ensuring consistent communication, mutual value, and long-term commitment
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Comms, Legal, and Finance to bring programs to life and ensure they reflect Suno's values and brand
Education Partnerships
  • Build Suno's university and education strategy from the ground up, targeting institutions, music programs, and ed-tech platforms where AI music creation has natural curriculum relevance
  • Establish and manage formal partnerships with colleges, universities, and music schools, including access agreements, co-developed curriculum materials, and educator support resources
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with faculty, department heads, and academic administrators who can champion Suno's role in music education
  • Explore integrations and partnerships with established educational platforms and tools to extend Suno's reach into structured learning environments
  • Represent Suno at educational conferences, campus events, and relevant academic forums
Cross-Functional Impact
  • Work closely with Product to advocate for features and access tiers that serve nonprofit and educational users
  • Partner with Comms, Music, and Marketing teams to develop storytelling around Suno's social impact, surfacing the human stories that demonstrate our platform's reach and meaning
  • Own the annual social impact and education budget and investment recommendation, presenting priorities to senior leadership
  • Track and report on program performance, partnership health, and community impact metrics that inform Suno's broader social impact investment strategy

What You'll Need
Required Experience & Expertise
  • 5-8+ years of experience in partnerships, program management, or community development, ideally spanning both education and nonprofit/social impact sectors
  • Demonstrated ability to build programs from scratch, you are comfortable with ambiguity and energized by the work of establishing something new
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the credibility to engage senior stakeholders at academic institutions and mission-driven organizations
  • Familiarity with the music industry, music education landscape, or AI technology (ideally more than one of these)
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills; you can represent Suno's vision compellingly to audiences who may be skeptical of or unfamiliar with AI
  • A genuine belief that creative tools should be accessible to everyone, and the drive to make that belief operational
  • Ability to manage multiple partnerships and workstreams simultaneously without losing attention to detail or relationship quality
  • Some people-manager experience; may manage internal or external partners supporting program execution in the future
Preferred
  • Experience at a music technology, streaming, or AI company
  • Experience working within or alongside product and engineering teams
  • Experience writing and/or performing music
  • Experience in product/platform product demonstrations
