Job DescriptionThe Senior Strategic Solutions Manager will serve as the primary contact and key strategic partner. You will drive growth and profitability through deep client relationships, support group-level governance, monitor relationship health, and expand existing business. By building and delivering client-specific value propositions, they will focus on enabling growth, resolve issues, reduce costs, and improve performance. This position will bring a consistent record in high-value account management within a matrix environment, leading to business growth, strategic project management and unsurpassed customer satisfaction.
DESCRIPTIONHow you will make an impact:
You will lead strategic partnerships and drive business growth through exceptional account management.
What you will do:
- Lead all aspects of customer partnerships, including targets, results, and business continuity.
- Leverage insights into customer needs, capabilities, and financial considerations to develop strategic offerings.
- Manage a comprehensive governance program for client portfolios across multiple service lines, including Unity Lab Services operations and asset management support.
- Report on and facilitate actions based on key performance indicators measuring relationship health and operational performance.
- Proactively resolve issues by cascading communications and engaging with internal and client executives.
- Deliver maximum value through improvement initiatives and ensure contract compliance.
- Promote harmonization across sites and continuous improvement using a PPI approach.
- Accurately forecast, communicate, and report on program status during business reviews.
- Build influential relationships with a broad network to lead effectively through influence.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal and external customers.
- Create presentations that translate complex data into compelling narratives that drive action.
REQUIREMENTSHow you will get here:
Skills:
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to run Profit and Loss (P&L), as well as financial forecasts.
- Leadership and supervisory skills to lead, coach, influence, and motivate a large group of employees, along with excellent interpersonal skills to relate well to employees, various levels of the customer business, and peers.
- Experience working with complex initiatives in a matrix environment with broad, high-value impact.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, committed, and strong customer advocacy.
- Effective change management and ability to adjust as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a scientific field (e.g., chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering) or a business-related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or comparable industry preferred.
Work Environment:
- Works in a remote office setting.
- Work the hours required to get the job done, with travel required.

Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range estimated for this position based in California is $117,000.00-$175,000.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
