Sr. Manager, Segment and Portfolio Strategy Req Id: 12756 Job Location: Nashville Posting Start Date: 9/11/26 Work Environment: Hybrid Job Description: Job Purpose Under the direction of the Director, Strategic Marketing, the Sr. Manager of Segment and Portfolio Strategy is responsible for LP's segment strategy and portfolio management efforts to ensure market, customer, and channel needs are translated into clear business and portfolio priorities. The Senior Manager, Segment & Portfolio Strategy serves as the connection between the market and LP's portfolio-ensuring LP understands where to play, what customers need, how the portfolio should compete, and where the organization should invest to deliver sustainable, profitable growth. This role leads the Segment Management team and owns the development of strategies across LP's priority market segments, including understanding market dynamics, customer needs, competitive activity, growth opportunities, and barriers to adoption. The role connects these insights to LP's portfolio strategy, helping determine where LP should play, how the portfolio should be positioned, and where future growth opportunities exist. In addition, this position leads portfolio management activities including portfolio architecture, Good-Better-Best strategy, portfolio optimization, product positioning, and value proposition development. The Senior Manager works closely with Product Management, Sales, Channel Marketing, Brand, Innovation, and other cross-functional partners to ensure LP's portfolio and commercialization priorities are grounded in customer needs and support profitable growth.
