Position Responsibilities:

Build and lead a diverse organization of QA Managers, QA Engineers, and Software Development Engineers in Test (SDETs). Oversee the definition and execution of comprehensive testing strategies, ensuring software issues and root causes are identified and customer requirements are met. Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to translate vision and roadmap into scalable software solutions across vendors, warehouses, and carriers, optimizing delivery speed and cost. Partner with peers to embed quality across design, development, and release through consistent standards and execution frameworks. Define and build efficient transportation systems using big data, machine learning, and optimization techniques. Establish the strategic vision for high-volume, low-latency, highly available services, ensuring performance and reliability standards. Own quality outcomes across transportation teams, driving consistent testing strategy, risk management, and release readiness at scale. Drive software design and testing innovation while upholding quality, maintainability, performance, and user experience standards. Define vision for quality solutions, automation frameworks, and continuous integration across platforms. Guide QA Managers in advancing test strategy, automation maturity, and quality engineering practices across products. Drive quality metrics to assess effectiveness, automation coverage, and customer impact, guiding release decisions to meet performance benchmarks and requirements. Lead new software and hardware mechanisms by analyzing design challenges holistically and creating feedback loops and ecosystems. Responsible for hiring, coaching, performance management, and succession planning to build a strong leadership pipeline.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field and eight years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have three years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) people management of multi-layer teams with demonstrated ability to develop managerial employees. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): (2) understanding of QA tool development chains and environments; (3) understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project planning and execution, including estimating and scheduling; (4) experience with test automation frameworks and strategies; and (5) coding and design proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, C#, C++, or related). Domestic and/or international travel up to 25% to perform role responsibilities may be required.

40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $174,500/year to $236,100/year.
