Position Summary:

The senior global account program manager serves as a visionary leader, responsible for shaping and executing the strategic direction of the global account management function. This role elevates the company's market position by cultivating transformative partnerships with high-value global clients and orchestrating cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results. The senior global strategies program manager sets the standard for account excellence, mentoring senior team members, and directly influencing the long-term success and growth of Swagelok's international business portfolio.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Strategic Customer Leadership & Relationship Governance
  • Act as the executive sponsor and ultimate point of accountability for the company's most significant global accounts, providing strategic direction and oversight to all account-related activities.
  • Champion the development and communication of compelling, enterprise-level value propositions tailored to each global client, guiding the creation of robust, forward-thinking account plans.
  • Proactively develop multi-tiered relationships with client leadership teams, including C-suite executives, to foster enduring alliances and maximize joint business opportunities.
  • Anticipate and interpret evolving client business strategies, investments, and KPIs, advising both clients and internal stakeholders on innovative partnership models and growth initiatives.
  • Regularly brief senior management and the executive leadership team on account health, emerging risks, opportunities, and key milestones, presenting strategic recommendations for advancement.

Enterprise Account Planning & Market Alignment
  • Lead the design and implementation of global account strategies that align with Swagelok's overarching market vision, customer objectives, and corporate imperatives.
  • Oversee the integration and synchronization of regional and local account plans, ensuring cohesive execution and alignment of deliverables across all geographies.
  • Inspire and coordinate cross-functional teams-including Sales & Service Centers (SSCs), engineering, product management, and executive sponsors-to deliver on both tactical and transformative account goals.
  • Direct the identification, planning, and facilitation of high-level executive engagements, steering strategic dialogue and driving consensus on joint priorities.

Growth Acceleration & Opportunity Sponsorship
  • Set ambitious growth targets for assigned global accounts, identifying and sponsoring key business development initiatives that advance Swagelok's value and market share.
  • Guide the creation of persuasive business cases and proposals, ensuring alignment with customer imperatives and Swagelok's innovation agenda.
  • Monitor market trends, customer investment cycles, and emerging opportunities, steering the organization's pursuit of new business within global accounts.

Global Collaboration, Influence & Network Stewardship
  • Establish and lead regular global forums with distributor and SSC partners, setting vision, sharing critical insights, and driving swift execution of high-impact initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and transparency across organizational boundaries, ensuring the effective flow of information, escalation of issues, and alignment on shared outcomes.
  • Design and implement structured engagement frameworks for customer and internal meetings, ensuring involvement of appropriate stakeholders and clarity of objectives at all organizational levels.

Corporate Alignment, Reporting & Talent Leadership
  • Own and oversee the global account review process, shaping content, facilitating executive discussions, and ensuring progress against strategic goals.
  • Drive enterprise-wide alignment by leading cross-functional strategic initiatives in support of customer requirements and company vision.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop senior account managers and account teams, instilling best practices, fostering professional growth, and building organizational capability.
  • Provide regular executive reporting, including rotational updates for the Swagelok Operating Environment (SOE), and contribute thought leadership to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Lead or participate in additional high-impact assignments and strategic projects as required by executive leadership.


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Required:

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 10 or more years' work experience
  • 4+ years of leading complex corporate programs spanning multiple groups within the enterprise


Skills/Knowledge:
  • Has expert knowledge and insight of theories, methodologies, practices, and procedures related to project and risk management
  • Fully capable of understanding and analyzing data trends
