Senior Manager National Accounts - Sam's Club

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Manager, National Accounts - Sam's Club. This Bentonville based role serves as the primary representative supporting our Sam's Club business.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

The Senior National Accounts Manager - Sam's Club is responsible for executing sales plans, both volume and profit, with assigned accounts. This position will also negotiate contracts at account headquarters and secure and maintain distribution of products. Ultimately you will contribute to the Company's success by building long-term relationships with customers to achieve business goals.   • Develop and successfully execute sales strategies, tactics, plans, and budgets for maximizing sales volume while meeting profit margin targets.
  • Demonstrate products and provide assistance in the best application of product.
  • Contact prospects and explain features and merits of products offered, utilizing persuasive sales techniques.
  • Analyze records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred.
  • Interpret accounts, trends, and records to management.
  • Service accounts and manage relationships regarding pricing, product warranty claims, receivables, etc.
  • Develop and coach junior sales associates
  • Provide market intelligence to management and peers.
  • In locations where applicable, responsible to comply with the SQF and GMP practices and programs to ensure safe food packaging product and to report food safety problems to those with authority to take action.

Qualifications

We Need You to Have

Education
  • BA/BS degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • MBA or other advanced degree a plus.

Experience
  • 8+ years of related professional and progressive experience in sales in the CPG industry, preferably with large accounts.
  • In depth background in multiple channels including food, drug, mass value stores and club. Broker management experience a plus.

  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
  • Demonstrated skills in problem solving and negotiation.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.

USD $127,700.00 - USD $185,150.00 /A

Bonus Eligibility

Role is eligible for 18% annual incentive provided the business meets financial goals and the individual meets their performance goals, subject to plan administration guidelines.
