Summary:
The Enterprise Systems team is responsible for providing the server and storage infrastructure along with service delivery for all the services offered and maintained by the Chickasaw Nation. This position oversees and manages the Enterprise Systems Operations team. This role must ensure a culture built around ITSM/ITIL governance and operational maturity. Provide support & oversight to staff for work quality, escalation and knowledge management. Is expected to develop and manage SLA & OLA for the department and ensure accurate reporting for each. Evaluate and plan the team's talent development & skills planning. Plan and prioritize workload demand in conjunction with project and growth demands.
Responsibilities:
* Supports the mission of the Chickasaw Nation upon becoming a member of the Chickasaw Nation team and embrace the lives of the Chickasaw people in all that we do
* Monitors staff progress via monthly reports and daily review of the ticket database, ensuring that all issues are being appropriately handled in a timely and professional manner
* Prepare, negotiate, and finalize vendor maintenance agreements, ensuring all organizational contract requirements are met
* Participates in management level meetings and planning sessions to share expertise and provide input to further assist in determining hardware acquisitions and to accomplish the organization's long-term goals and objectives
* Oversees resource management of IT Operations personnel and equipment
* Recommends staff requirements on major systems development and/or research projects
* Ensures staff members receive regular and on-going training in all job relevant areas to enhance job performance, develop new skills, or hone existing skills to enable them to reach performance standards and attain monthly goals
* Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
* Evaluates staffing levels to maintain departmental efficiency; make recommendations to the Director of IT when staffing levels require adjustment
* Plans and implements additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting infrastructure company-wide in coordination with corporate leadership
* Oversees the implementation of network security at the corporate level
* Anticipates future network needs, identifies proactive solutions to satisfy needs
* Oversees the planning and management of the company's telephone system and manages company-wide upgrade efforts
* Oversees all IT-related purchasing and budget usage; works with accounting to develop budgets
* Holds responsibility for capacity planning and scheduling vendor negotiations related to IT
* Develops and maintains documentation as appropriate - files, logs, records, reports, etc.
