Description WHAT YOU WILL DO The Sr. Manager, Identity and Access Management (IAM) Platform will lead the design, implementation, and management of the organization's IAM platform, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant access to financial systems, customer data, and employee accounts. Reporting to the Director of Cybersecurity Engineering & Operations, this role will manage a team of IAM engineers and analysts, oversee platform operations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IAM strategies with business objectives and financial regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR, SOX, FFIEC).
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT 1.IAM Platform Strategy & Leadership
- Lead IAM platform strategy, architecture, and roadmap to support business objectives, security requirements, and zero-trust principles.
- Partner with business, technology, and security teams to integrate IAM capabilities across enterprise initiatives.
- Provide executive reporting on IAM performance, risks, and strategic priorities.
- Drive continuous platform improvement through optimization and innovation.
2. IAM Platform Operations
- Oversee identity governance, access management, authentication, privileged access, and identity lifecycle processes.
- Ensure secure, compliant access across enterprise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Monitor platform performance, incidents, and key metrics to support operational effectiveness.
3. Technical Innovation & Automation
- Drive IAM automation, cloud identity solutions, analytics, and platform integrations to improve security and efficiency.
- Support modernization initiatives that enhance identity governance and user experience.
4. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure IAM practices align with regulatory, audit, and security requirements.
- Manage IAM risks, policies, vendor relationships, and governance processes.
5. Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop IAM team members while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE - 8 years of IAM experience, including 3 years in a technical leadership or management role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Financial services experience preferred, with knowledge of regulatory and security requirements.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise IAM platforms such as SailPoint, CyberArk, Ping Identity, Microsoft Entra ID/Purview, or similar solutions.
- Strong knowledge of identity governance, RBAC, MFA, PAM, SSO, IAM protocols, and zero-trust architecture.
- Experience securing cloud and hybrid environments, including AWS, Azure, and enterprise integrations.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards, including NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOX, and GDPR.
- Experience with IAM automation, scripting, analytics, and security monitoring tools.
