Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:

This role serves as a leader within the Human Resources function and acts as a strategic partner to the HR Leader. This role oversees core HR operational excellence, policy governance, compliance, and HR business partnership for designated functions • including serving as the primary HRBP for the Integrated Growth Teams (Product Management, Marketing and Sales). The role leads key HR programs, drives process improvements, and ensures consistent, high-quality HR service delivery across METUS.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

HR Operations
  • Lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of HR operational processes, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and alignment with METUS business goals.
  • Lead the development, revision, communication, and governance of policies and procedures; ensure clarity, compliance, and alignment with organizational values.
  • Identify operational gaps, propose solutions, and implement scalable processes that enhance HR service delivery and employee experience.

HR Business Partnership
  • Primary HRBP for Integrated Growth Teams • Serve as the strategic HR advisor to Sales leadership, providing guidance on organizational structure, workforce planning, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Provide high-level counsel to leaders on policy interpretation, employee relations, performance issues, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Oversee complex investigations, ensure fair and consistent resolution, and mitigate risk through proactive coaching and documentation.
  • Guide managers and employees through annual goal setting, performance reviews, and corrective action processes.
  • Maintain accurate job descriptions and support job evaluation processes in partnership with Talent Team
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws; monitor regulatory changes and adjust policies and practices accordingly.

Leadership & Team Management
  • Directly manage the HRBP team and Total Rewards function; provide coaching, development, and performance oversight.
  • Partner with the Talent Team on talent acquisition and development strategies; ensure seamless coordination across HR verticals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Head of HR; translate strategic initiatives into execution.

Other Responsibilities
  • Partner with MEUS corporate office on shared services including compensation planning, HR systems, payroll, and legal support.
  • Support employee engagement, retention, communication, and measurement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Talent Development on compliance training and development needs for assigned functions.
  • Act as a strategic change agent supporting METUS Lean transformation.
  • Lead special projects and initiatives.
  • Travel up to 25% for company meetings and training.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelors• degree in related field; MBA or other master's degree preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
  • 7-10 years of progressive Human Resources Generalist experience in employee relations, compensation and benefits (administration); compliance and policy governance.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation, benefits, HR systems, and organizational design.
  • Proven ability to work with employees and managers at all levels and foster relationships.
  • Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
  • Advanced computer skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and prefer experience with HRIS system.
  • Results driven approach while remaining flexible and collaborative.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management and HR systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of business and sales & distribution processes.
  • Experience with Lean principles or Continuous Improvement processes a plus.
  • Team player demonstrating METUS core values including a desire to win together, deliver excellence, drive sustainability, focus on execution and learn continuously.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $128,000 and $176,000 per year however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including target bonus and discretionary awards . Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents. Employees will also receive 120 hours of vacation per year, 56 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, depending on hire date. Employees may also take up to 12 weeks of paid or unpaid [parental/disability/emergency/etc.] leave, if eligible.

If hired, employee will be in an • at-will position• and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
