• This role is a part of the Flight Training Strategy team within the Flight Training Operations organization and Integrated Operations division.
• This role is responsible for leading the team that completes analysis related to Pilot training, Check Pilots and other instructors, and the Flight Training Academy to provide strategic support in a department that is integral to the operational success of the company.

What you'll do
• Lead a team responsible for analysis that supports the long-term strategic direction of the Flight Training Operation.
• Oversee the creation of new models and analyses related to Flight Training Operations, Pilot training, and the Flight Training Academy.
• Calculate and analyze Check Pilot and Instructor Pilot utilization data to provide accurate pay hours data to Payroll Operations and Crew Compensation.
• Oversee data driven KPI analysis and creation of performance reporting presentations for upper management and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate and coordinate with various stakeholders and partners, including Flight Training & Standards, Flight Planning & Scheduling, Labor Relations, Finance, Crew Workforce Planning, Crew Compensation, and Payroll Operations.

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Aviation, Operations, or another related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience, including expertise in advanced modeling and analysis.
• Knowledge of Alteryx or Python and SQL or related data manipulation tools and languages.
• Knowledge of the airline industry and experience in airline operations.
• Understanding and familiarity with collective bargaining agreements.

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
• Graduate degree in Business, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Aviation, Operations, or another related field.
• Knowledge of 2023 Allied Pilots Association Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Skills, Licenses & Certifications
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with an aptitude for problem-solving, information synthesis, and decision-making.
• Ability to multi-task and manage cross-functional projects while collaborating effectively and shifting priorities appropriately to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organization skills.
