DESCRIPTION

What will you do?

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented finance professional to join the Chemical Analysis Division as a Senior Finance Manager. In this highly visible business-partnering role, you will lead planning and forecasting activities, deliver actionable insights on bookings and revenue performance, and partner closely with regional service leaders and finance stakeholders to drive growth and operational efficiency.

Strategic Planning & Forecasting
  • Lead the annual Operating Plan (AOP), monthly forecast, and long-range planning processes, including financial modelling, scenario analysis, and performance management to support achievement of business objectives
  • Leverage the PPI Business System and operational review cadence to monitor weekly bookings and revenue performance, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure accountability against commitments


Financial Analysis & Business Partnership
  • Drive financial visibility into bookings, revenue, margin, and operational performance by translating complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for senior leadership
  • Provide financial leadership and decision support for the MCS business, ensuring robust analysis, performance tracking, and effective allocation of resources to maximize business outcomes
  • Develop and present executive-level financial analyses, business cases, and strategic recommendations to support investment decisions, prioritization, and performance improvement initiatives


Strategic Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
  • Partner with regional Service leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, improve commercial execution, and support strategic initiatives that accelerate profitable revenue growth
  • Build strong partnerships with regional and functional Service leadership teams, acting as a trusted advisor to influence decision-making and drive financial accountability
  • Collaborate closely with finance matrix stakeholders across FP&A, Commercial Finance, Operations Finance, and Business Finance to ensure alignment on forecasts, reporting, strategic priorities, and business performance objectives


Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
  • Drive cost-to-serve optimization initiatives by evaluating service delivery economics, productivity metrics, and operational efficiency opportunities across the organization
  • Lead finance process improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives that enhance reporting efficiency, forecasting accuracy, data quality, and decision support capabilities

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or certification preferred (MBA, MS, CPA)
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience with proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Prior experience in a large global and highly matrixed organization preferred
  • Demonstrated business partnership and ability to provide strategic support to senior business leaders


Financial & Technical Expertise
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret, challenge, and communicate complex financial data in support of business decisions
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AI Automation; experience with financial systems and tools preferred
  • Solid understanding of business operations, financial controls, and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Practical Process Improvement)
  • Strong analytical thinking, including the ability to interpret trends, benchmark performance, and draw insights from ambiguous data
  • Ability to identify control gaps and implement effective mitigation strategies


Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $130,000.00-$194,950.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
