Job Description:

We are searching for top talent for Experience Design Senior Manager in Titusville, NJ (Hybrid, 3 days a week on-site).

The Experience Design Senior Manager will lead experience strategy and delivery for commercial sales and marketing technology products. This role serves as the accountable design leader for the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) transformation, with a focus on simplifying and integrating tools, data, and workflows to better serve field and commercial users.

This leader defines and drives a comprehensive, end-to-end experience vision and leads designers in close partnership with Product, Technology, Data, and Commercial teams. The role is responsible for delivering scalable, measurable experience outcomes across critical enterprise platforms, including Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set and own the end-to-end experience vision for Connext U.S., aligned to business strategy, commercial priorities, and field needs.
  • Lead experience strategy, service design, and interaction design across discovery, MVP, and scaled delivery phases.
  • Manage Experience Designers and oversee an external design partner, providing clear direction, coaching, and feedback.
  • Partner with senior leaders across Product, Technology, Commercial, and Data to influence product strategy and roadmap decisions.
  • Ensure experience quality and consistency through adherence to J&J Experience Design standards and enterprise design systems.
  • Translate complex business processes and data ecosystems into intuitive, efficient, and usable field experiences.
  • Define experience outcomes, KPIs, and learning agendas to guide iteration, optimization, and investment decisions.
  • Drive design delivery within agile teams by partnering with Product and Engineering to scope work, define acceptance criteria, participate in ceremonies, and ship iterative improvements.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Service Design, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in experience or digital product design, including people leadership.
  • Demonstrated leadership on enterprise-scale platforms or transformational initiatives.
  • Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead effectively in a matrixed environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
  • Experience designing for CRM, field enablement, or commercial ecosystems.
  • Salesforce experience (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or integrated field enablement solutions).
  • Proven partnership with agile product and technology teams.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled, insight-driven, or data-informed experiences.


Up to 10% travel may be required for this role.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$137,000.00 - $235,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation -120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave - 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave - 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off - 80 hours per calendar year
