Summary

ALOM is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Enterprise Applications, to lead and develop a team of developers and engineers supporting enterprise business applications. Reporting to the VP of Information Technology, this leader will drive application strategy, operational execution, vendor partnerships, customer engagement, and continuous improvement across the organization.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of 4-8 developers and engineers
  • Shape the strategy, architecture, and long-term roadmap for enterprise applications
  • Improve the systems and processes that support ALOM's supply chain, manufacturing, and business operations
  • Partner with leaders across Operations, Finance, HR, Procurement, and Technology to deliver meaningful business solutions
  • Evaluate and implement technologies that improve efficiency, scalability, customer experience, and competitive advantage
  • Build strong relationships with internal clients, software vendors, and implementation partners


Here's what you need to succeed in the role:

  • 8+ years of experience designing, implementing, or maintaining business applications in supply chain, manufacturing, or related environments
  • 2+ years of people-management experience
  • Proven success leading technical teams and delivering measurable business results
  • Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Experience with enterprise applications such as ERP, MRP, WMS, TMS, VMS, CRM, SCM, OMS, or operational technology systems is preferred
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET, SQL Server, Windows Server, and cloud deployments, is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience


You will be responsible for:

  • Hiring, coaching, developing, and setting clear expectations for a team of developers and engineers
  • Overseeing application design, configuration, maintenance, support, and delivery to ensure quality, efficiency, compliance, and business value
  • Establishing technology and application architecture strategies aligned with business and customer needs
  • Managing team budgets, headcount, workflows, priorities, KPIs, project estimates, and leadership reporting
  • Identifying process gaps and implementing scalable improvements to strengthen productivity, quality, and service delivery
  • Evaluating, procuring, and implementing business applications and technology solutions
  • Managing software vendors and service providers, including contracts, negotiations, support, and professional-services engagements
  • Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, address barriers, and deliver effective technology solutions
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, applicable regulations, and internal control frameworks, including SOC 2 Type II and ISO 14001
