Duties: Implement and support strategic digital capabilities. Provide technical guidance in designing and developing scalable, reliable, and secure systems in the specimen management landscape. Enable integration between various applications by designing concepts or changes of robust middleware solutions. Support the implementation of DevOps practices to streamline software development and deployment processes. Work on projects involving natural language processing and advanced analytics. Handle and process informed consent forms with use of metadata to achieve efficient sample tracking and compliance. Evaluate emerging technologies for adoption. Develop software applications following structured Software Development Lifecyle processes in a regulated environment. Telecommuting permitted on a hybrid schedule as determined by the employer. Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, and five (5) years of post-Bachelor's, progressive, related work experience. Must have five (5) years of experience with/in the following: - Labmatrix Biospecimen management; - Home-grown consent tracking tools; - Clinical domain knowledge including Biospecimen management, consent codification, and general clinical development process; - Utilizing Qiagram for biospecimen data analytics and visualization; and - Middleware technology expertise in the bio-pharmaceutical industry. All global employees full and part-time who are actively employed at and paid directly by BMS at the end of the calendar year are eligible to take advantage of the Global Shutdown. *Eligibility Disclosure: The summer hours program is for United States (U.S.) office-based employees due to the unique nature of their work. Summer hours are generally not available for field sales and manufacturing operations and may also be limited for the capability centers. Employees in remote-by-design or lab-based roles may be eligible for summer hours, depending on the nature of their work, and should discuss eligibility with their manager. Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible. Contractors, leased workers and other service providers are not eligible to participate in the program."
