Full Job Description
We are currently searching for a Sr. Manager, Engineering to join our team in Corona, CA.

Essential Functions:
  • Manage and develop team responsible for sustainably sustaining, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing processes and equipment achieving Quality requirements.
  • Implement Quality Strategic Plan from Customer expectations and feedback down to Internal Quality Standards integrating leading indicators to drive proactive approach and drive engineering mechanisms based on Advanced Quality Tools to create Problem-Solving Culture and manage data-driven engineering team to take/define actions.
  • Drive process design to ensure sustainability, continuous improvement and process stability. Lead Quality at Source mind-set across Corona Factory with Value stream Supervisors.
  • Gather engineering data from inspection or audit process and provide statistical results to identify areas of engineering opportunity. Lead cross-functional team of Quality and Process Engineers through daily material review board for quality control.
  • Establish, implement, and monitor plans and engineering programs for Quality improvement.
  • Manage engineering processes and ensure Quality Process Engineering implementation to attain organizational goals.
  • Oversee sustaining and continuous improvement goals of Process Engineering team to reach defined first pass yield goals.
  • Analyze data with team to correlate Yield, Fallout to breakdown engineering opportunities by priority.
  • Lead productive process that concludes with products and/or services in quality standards based on appropriate regulations. Manage Shop floor with engineering focus and hands-on mentality.
  • Responsible for linking Customer and Process Quality Key Process Indicators (KPI) correlation by applying Problem Solving methodologies.
  • Coach Quality Engineers and Process Manufacturing Engineers on Advanced Quality Tools. (SQDC, MDI, Leading/Lagging KPI, FMEA, MSA, 5s, RCCA, A3, 8D).
  • Apply TPS / Lean Manufacturing practices (including A3, PDCA, 5S, Kaizen Activities, Poke-Yoke) to manufacturing engineering.
  • Supervise manufacturing operations and manufacturing robotics for NPI and R&D products.
  • Implement tactical Management for Daily Improvement System to ensure Campus Management Agenda including strategy, visibility, and planning.
  • Report performance, evaluating and promoting customer requirements to improve customer satisfaction. Coordinate interaction between Key Stakeholders (e.g. Operations & Supply Chain).

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechatronic, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering and 3 years of engineering management experience within Medical Device, Aerospace, or Automotive industries.
  • Must possess 3 years of experience with:
    • TPS / Lean Manufacturing practices (A3, PDCA, 5S, Kaizen Activities, Poke-Yoke, and Quality Management System)
    • Manufacturing operations for NPI and R&D products
    • Manufacturing robotics operations
    • Automotive Paint or similar finishes.
  • Six sigma Green Belt or Six sigma Black Belt.
  • 5% domestic and international travel on a quarterly basis

Subject to the foregoing, the current pay rate for this position is $180,648 to $185,000 annual salary.
