The Engineering Training Lead will serve as a catalyst for continuous improvement, ensuring the organization is equipped to meet current and future challenges with agility and excellence.

This role will work closely with the Head/Director of Operations, HW Engineering, and will be a key member of their team. You will partner with hardware engineering org leadership and teams across the company to unpack ambiguous problems and build lasting, scalable solutions. Your work will vary from quick-turn operational fire-fighting, building and redesigning processes, to leading long-term high-impact strategic projects. Your role will enable and provide operational leverage to the engineering organization that underpins and differentiates Anduril as the next generation defense prime.

Develop and own the overall training strategy for the Hardware organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and engineering best practices.
  • Alignment and Socialization: Proactively socialize new standards, tool updates, and process changes to ensure broad adoption and alignment across all consuming teams. This includes developing communication strategies to effectively convey the value and implementation details of these changes.
  • Change Management: Develops comprehensive change management strategies for programs and projects. Leads the execution of change management efforts for various initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption. Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing change management deliverables, including overall change plans, communication plans, and integration with training plans.
  • Documentation and Standardization: Own the official document lifecycle for key engineering processes and standards. Work collaboratively with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to map, write, and maintain high-quality, user-centric process documentation that is accessible and actionable for all engineers.
  • Metrics and Analytics: Leverage analytics and insights to identify trends in training effectiveness, process adoption, and operational efficiency. Recommend data-driven actions for program design, continuous improvement, and measurement of success across all key initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering Leadership, Quality, Configuration Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to understand their specific training and operational needs and to co-create solutions.
  • Program Leadership: Drive the planning, execution, and successful delivery of key operational programs and initiatives that enhance the capabilities and efficiency of the Hardware Engineering organization.
