Overview*Candidates must be located in the United States, in or near North Carolina or the Washington, DC metropolitan area.*The Sr. Manager, Business Technology oversees planning, execution and delivery of enterprise technology initiatives that drive operation efficiency and business growth. The role leads multiple teams, including business analysts, business technology manager, and application admin and works with business solutions for aligning technology capabilities with strategic business objectives. The sr. manager provides leadership in solution design systems integration and digital transformation efforts while ensuring governance, scalability and long-term sustainability.

- Team Leadership & Development - Provide vision and direction to multiple technical and analytical teams, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture. Coach, mentor, and evaluate team members to support professional development and delivery excellence. Align resources to project needs, manage workloads, and ensure accountability for performance and outcomes.
- Business Partnership- Acts as a strategic partner to senior business leaders, guiding the alignment of technology, data governance, and process excellence with corporate priorities. Fosters collaboration and partners with Business Solutions, and ensures that business outcomes are achieved through scalable, compliant, and innovation solutions. Thought leadership, mentors team members and builds executive-level relationships to strengthen the organizations' ability to deliver business growth through technology
- Stakeholder Collaboration- Partner with department leaders and subject matter experts to identify needs, prioritize initiatives, and co-develop solutions. Translate complex technical concepts into accessible, actionable plans for non-technical stakeholders. Facilitate governance structures, stakeholder reviews, and communication processes to ensure alignment and buy-in.
- Process Improvement- Identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities to optimize business processes and eliminate inefficiencies through technology. Apply process modeling, root cause analysis, and performance metrics to inform solution design and user engagement. Leverage automation and analytics to drive productivity and standardization across departments.
- Project Execution- Manage the lifecycle of complex, cross-functional technology projects-from business case development to deployment and evaluation. Establish project scopes, timelines, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic business value.
- Governance & Support- Maintain governance standards for technology usage, data integrity, system access, and change control. Oversee user support and issue resolution processes to ensure high system availability and user satisfaction. Monitor platform performance, coordinate upgrades, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Vendor and Partner Management - Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with third-party providers to ensure alignment with organization goals and performance expectations. This includes overseeing contracts, monitoring service levels and KPIs ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards and driving continuous improvement. This also encompasses financial oversight, including budgeting, invoicing, and cost control, as well as managing the onboarding and offboarding of vendors.
- Portfolio & Program Oversight - Strategically managing a collection of initiatives for the respective area assigned to ensure alignment with organizational priorities, resource optimization, and delivery of expected business value. This includes setting governance structures, monitoring progress against goals, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring stakeholder engagement across programs. Oversight ensures that initiatives are executed efficiently, stay within scope and budget, and contribute to the overall strategic objectives of the organization.

Qualifications- Familiarity with project and process methodologies such as Agile, Asana, and DMAIC.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools.
- Skilled creating SWOT Analysis and ROI and impact Analysis
- Skilled using requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Use Case and Wireframe tools
- Excellent communication, Proficient in Adaptability, Agility, Collaboration, Leadership, Problem-Solving. Leading Change, Project Management, Innovation, Influencing Others, Digital Acumen, and skilled in Technical Understanding
- Proficient in decision-making and prioritization. Skilled in managing application configuration, role-based access, custom workflows, and integrations to meet evolving business needs.
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is required or equivalent experience. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in application portfolio management, business technology, or IT operations.
- Minimum of 4-6 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity leading cross-functional teams or enterprise system
initiatives. - CBAP or PMI-PBA, ITIL, PMP, or Agile certifications (CSM, CSPO, PMI-ACP) is a plus
Position SpecificsThe initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $150,000 and $165,000 annually. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, our compensation structure may include other components such as commissions and discretionary bonuses.
