Overview

The Sr. Manager, BI Portfolio Reporting Lead, part of US Business Analytics, supports the delivery of reporting, business intelligence, and analytics solutions across a broad portfolio of operations and new launch deliverables. Reporting to the Senior Director, BI Reporting & Technical Product Lead, this role is a key member of a larger Business Information Services team responsible for providingintegrated technology solutions and other critical commercial systems.

Key responsibilities
  • Serve as a key partner to Medical Affairs stakeholders, translating business needs and success criteria into aligned data and analytics solutions across BI Reporting, Data Infrastructure, CRM, and AI Engineering teams.
  • Lead requirement definitions, problem statement articulation and solution value measurements taking an active role in eliciting, documenting, and at times testing BI, Analytics, and AI products in support of key customers and business initiatives.
  • Drive BI product development through user experience and interface alignment, supporting prototyping, development, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage stakeholder success through adherence to schedule and rigorous product/project execution.
  • Support key stakeholders with a focus on Medical Affairs home office and fields teams and liaise with Incyte IT as projects or requirements dictate.
  • Develop operational procedures and oversee successful execution of data flows and report refreshes to ensure timely, accurate delivery of dashboards to stakeholders


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field required.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL required, with the ability to query, transform, and analyze data.
  • Hands-on experience with data & analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, and Power BI)
  • Experience building intuitive business-facing dashboards in Power BI with a focus on usability, performance, and visual design.
  • 3 - 5 years of pharmaceutical experience required.
  • Proven ability to work with stakeholders to extract, articulate, and document solution requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage third party vendors and internal partners to ensure projects are completed on-time and on-budget.
  • Intermediate level technical understanding of medallion data architecture frameworks and data mesh product management preferred.
  • Strong sense of customer service; ability to interact with employees spanning all levels of the organization.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Veeva CRM preferred.
  • Knowledge of Azure data factories, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills, written and oral communications.
  • Proven ability to multi-task.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and/or actively participate in multiple simultaneous projects.
