They own business-side readiness; driving communication, change management, training input, and adoption across the field.

Partnering closely with Banner Initiatives, Customer Experience, Store Operations, Technology, and Data teams, the Senior Manager serves as a connector between strategy and execution, helping remove friction, identify gaps, and ensure banners have what they need to win in a rapidly evolving retail landscape.

At this time, Foot Locker will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer any immigration related support for this position (i.e. H1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, TN, or another type of work authorization).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key cross-functional partner with Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, and Champs Sports to translate banner priorities into required tools, capabilities, and executional support.
  • Represent banners and stores in the technology lifecycle by defining business needs and use cases, ensuring solutions reflect the banners strategies.
  • Influence the technology roadmap through close partnership with Technology, Data, CX, and Store Operations, ensuring alignment to banner strategies and store realities.
  • Support the activation of new in-store tools, platforms, and technologies, ensuring solutions are intuitive, scalable, and field ready.
  • Ensure capital projects include the right technological tools, systems, and capabilities by partnering with Real Estate, Technology, and Field teams.
  • Identify executional gaps and friction points across stores; develop solutions that enhance clarity, efficiency, and overall store team experience.
  • Lead store readiness, communication, and change-management planning to support the rollout and adoption of new tools and initiatives.
  • Monitor retail, technology, and consumer trends to identify opportunities for innovation and future-focused capabilities across banners.
  • Support pilot programs and test-and-learn initiatives to validate new tools, capabilities, and operational models before broader rollout.
  • Maintain strong field connectivity through store visits and consistent feedback loops with field leadership to ensure initiatives remain grounded in frontline realities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years in store or field leadership or a relevant corporate role.
  • Experience in retail operations, store technology, strategy, or customer experience roles, preferably within consumer, retail, or sports/lifestyle brands is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of retail store operations and field execution realities.
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into practical, scalable enablement solutions.
  • Experience supporting or implementing in store technology, tools, or operational processes.
  • Forward thinking mindset with strong curiosity about retail innovation, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple initiatives, priorities, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, with the ability to create clear, effective materials for cross functional and field audiences.
