    Primary Responsibilities

    The Senior Manager of Accounting will be a dynamic leader ready to take ownership of our accounting operations and elevate them to the next level.  This isn't just about closing the books; it's about shaping the financial narrative of a rapidly growing organization, mentoring future leaders, and partnering with business leaders to drive strategic outcomes. This role will own GAAP financial reporting; manage a team of accountants; and drive process improvements through automation, strong controls, and reporting tools.     Essential Functions
    • DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
      • Recruit, develop, and mentor a team of accountants; create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
      • Partner with cross-functional leaders to analyze variances, identify trends, and deliver actionable financial intelligence to senior leadership.
      • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline, automate, and modernize accounting workflows using technology and AI-driven solutions.
      • Guarantee timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting that enables confident decision-making at all levels.
      • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, support external audits, and ensure robust internal controls and tax compliance.
      • Leverage ERP and reporting platforms (Workday, Power BI) to enhance data accuracy and cross-functional visibility.
      • Research, interpret, and apply new accounting standards and pronouncements; maintain up-to-date accounting policies and procedures documentation.
      • Serve as a subject matter expert on complex and judgmental accounting matters (e.g., revenue recognition, leases, stock compensation), providing guidance to the broader finance organization.
      • Support M&A due diligence, system implementations, and other special projects as the business evolves.
      • Present financial results and key insights to leadership and other stakeholders, translating complex financial data into clear business narratives.
      • Other duties and projects as assigned.
    Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

    • Deep expertise in GAAP reporting, consolidations, and month-end close processes.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced expertise in Excel.

    • Continuous improvement mindset, with a willingness to challenge existing processes and drive change.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • CPA strongly preferred.
    • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of managing and developing team.
    • Experience with Workday, Power BI, or similar ERP/BI tools preferred.
