Job Posting:Sr. Global Logistics AnalystJob SummaryThe Sr. Global Logistics Analyst is responsible for the reporting and analysis of the global supply chain; aiming to monitor and improve: transit performance, cost, data quality, and overall flow. This role will be the SME of existing logistics systems and data, responsible for monitoring and improving the data quality, and identifying/implementing new logistics analytics, as required.
Responsibilities- Coordinate the development and distribution of Logistics metrics (spend and transit by international segment) and KPIs.
- Govern, maintain, and optimize global logistics databases, data and it's quality, analytics processes, and platforms.
- Steer enterprise-wide data and analytics transformations pertaining to global logistics data management, reporting automation/simplification, data science, next generation analytics technology/platforms, etc.
- Assist Logistics/Customs Leadership in strategy, analytics, and/or process improvement.
- Facilitate data compilation and presentation for routine performance reviews with global logistics partners.
- Act as global SME for Logistics and Business Intelligence systems (Infor Nexus and PowerBI super-user).
- Develop fluent understanding of ERP, logistics, and analytics technology and systems, keeping up with advancements in technology and innovations within logistics platforms and processes.
- Provide analytics for Global RFP process with logistics providers.
- Constantly work with internal stakeholders (i.e, Finance/Acctg, Sourcing, A/P, Logistics, Distribution, Operations) to increase value of department KPIs/Metrics.
Experience- Applicable experience in Data Analytics related to logistics, supply chain, or international business
Skills- Technical/Analytical Platform experience: Advanced Microsoft Excel, Advanced PowerBI, proficiency in GT Nexus/Infor Nexus or other logistics visibility platforms, and working knowledge of business intelligence reporting solutions, experience with SAP ERP systems.
- Apply and interpret data science into practical logistics applications.
- Must be able to independently prioritize multiple duties and tasks
- Attention to detail and analytical prowess to optimize logistics flows against meaningful KPIs
