Sr Learning & Development Advisor

Your role at Dynatrace

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Learning and Development Advisor to join our team at Dynatrace One. This role is pivotal in designing and developing comprehensive learning solutions for employee onboarding, product education, technical skills, and professional development. The ideal candidate will apply instructional design and performance improvement principles to create effective learning and performance solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Intake stakeholder needs and translate requirements into effective learning and performance solutions. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and other stakeholders to conduct detailed training and performance needs assessments.
  • Performance Improvement: Apply performance improvement principles to analyze performance gaps, identify root causes, and design solutions to improve results.
  • Instructional Design: Apply instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to develop engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  • Content Creation: Develop learning experiences in various modalities, including eLearning, instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (vILT), videos, podcasts, and more.
  • Material Development: Create and maintain learning materials such as participant guides, instructor guides, job aids, animations, presentations, and infographics.
  • Program Evaluation: Utilize data-driven evaluation models, such as Kirkpatrick's model, to measure the effectiveness of learning programs and make informed decisions.
  • Facilitation: Facilitate learning experiences and present to stakeholders as necessary.
  • Project Management: Utilize strong project management skills to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively and proactively, both verbally and in writing with SMEs, stakeholders, and team members.

What will help you succeed

Minimum Requirements:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Learning & Development or related field, including program design, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Deep understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design models (like ADDIE or SAM). Experience creating engaging, effective, and interactive learning experiences.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and consultative skills.
  • Strong writing and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, apply problem-solving skills, adapt, and pivot quickly in an ever-changing environment.
  • Up to date on learning technology trends, research, and innovations.
  • Skilled at using content authoring software such as Articulate Rise, Storyline, Camtasia, Canva, Vyond, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Curious and able to dig deeper with SMEs and stakeholders to understand their needs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technology, Education, Organizational Development or related field.


Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience using and administering an LMS.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to entertain while educating.
  • Experience communicating technical information in terms understandable to both technical and non-technical end users.
  • Change management and Human Performance Improvement expertise.
  • Advanced degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technology, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.


Employees Can Work Remotely Within the United Sates with residence 45 miles distance outside of local office. This role can be filled remotely for the right candidate.
