The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr IT Project Manager, PLM to lead and oversee the implementation of [PLM system, e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Oracle Fusion Cloud PLM, Oracle Agile PLM, Dassault ENOVIA] across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering large-scale PLM programs, strong leadership capabilities, transformational experience, and a deep understanding of IT project management and product lifecycle optimization.

What Your Impact Will Be:

Program Leadership:
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of a global PLM system, ensuring alignment with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and business goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all PLM program-related activities.
  • Deliver integrated capabilities supporting the entire product lifecycle across multiple global regions and time zones.

Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans encompassing scope, milestones, resource allocation, risk, and contingency strategies.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, manufacturing, IT, and external vendors to ensure project success.
  • Manage and lead multiple concurrent PLM workstreams, driving timely and effective delivery.

Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, product development, quality, and regulatory stakeholders to define program objectives and deliverables.
  • Communicate project status, dependencies, and risks to senior stakeholders and propose actionable mitigation plans.

Team Management:
  • Build and lead a high-performing project team, including internal staff, contractors, systems integrators, and third-party consultants.
  • Provide mentorship and direction to ensure technical and delivery excellence across the team.

Risk and Issue Management:
  • Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, and interdependencies across the program lifecycle.
  • Drive resolution strategies to maintain project momentum and stability.

Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure the PLM solution meets engineering, regulatory, and business requirements through robust validation and testing.
  • Oversee system integration with CAD, ERP, and other enterprise platforms; ensure smooth data migration and technical fit.

Change Management:
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to drive user adoption, streamline workflows, and minimize operational disruption.
  • Facilitate end-user training and continuous engagement for long-term success.

Budget and Resource Management:
  • Manage program financials with a focus on cost efficiency, transparency, and return on investment.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of internal and external resources across project phases.
  • Experienced managing $10M-$20M annual budget with multi year budget of $50M+


Qualifications

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • [Preferred] Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, ITIL).
  • 15+ years of experience in IT program/project management, with a strong focus on PLM implementations.
  • Demonstrated success managing global or multi-site PLM initiatives.
  • Deep knowledge of PLM platforms and integrations with CAD, ERP, and MES systems.
  • Experience with product development processes, regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, ISO), and engineering change management.
  • Strong understanding of digital thread concepts and product data governance.
  • Delivery expertise in Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid methodologies.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

*The pay range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base pay will be determined based on a candidate's work location, skills and experience.
