Full Job Description
Position Summary:

Leads the planning and execution of complex Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) integration initiatives, ensuring the seamless alignment of people, processes, technology, and operations. Drives cross-functional integration efforts from due diligence through Day 1 readiness, stabilization, and value realization while minimizing business disruption and accelerating synergy capture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of M&A integration programs across business and technology functions, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and governance.
  • Partner with executive leadership and business stakeholders to define integration strategies, priorities, and success metrics.
  • Coordinate due diligence activities to identify operational, technology, financial, compliance, and organizational risks.
  • Develop and manage integration plans, milestones, dependency maps, Day 1 readiness plans, and post-close execution roadmaps.
  • Drive synergy realization initiatives and track achievement of business case objectives, cost savings, revenue opportunities, and operational efficiencies.
  • Facilitate decision-making by applying strong critical thinking and evaluating trade-offs among competing integration priorities.
  • Lead execution of cross-functional workstream deliverables including Operations, IT, Finance, HR, Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Manage third-party vendors, consultants, and integration partners to ensure successful execution.
  • Identify, mitigate, and escalate integration risks, issues, and barriers that may impact value realization or timeline commitments.
  • Provide executive-level reporting, integration dashboards, status updates, and Steering Committee presentations.
  • Ensure adherence to PMO, integration governance, and change management methodologies.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment, communication planning, and organizational readiness activities to support successful adoption.
  • Support acquisition pipeline planning and integration capacity forecasting for multiple concurrent transactions.
  • Mentor project managers and workstream leads while promoting best practices across the PMO.

Additional: Up to 20% travel as required for acquisition diligence, integration planning, and post-close support.

Qualifications- External

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Certifications: PMP, PMI-PBA, CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Prosci Change Management

Experience:
  • 8-10+ years of project, program, or integration management experience, including significant involvement in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or large-scale business transformations.
  • Successful leadership of acquisition integrations, business transformations, or enterprise-wide change initiatives.
  • Experience integrating business operations, technology platforms, organizational structures, and customer-facing processes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent integration workstreams and priorities.
  • Experience working within large corporate environments and highly matrixed organizations.
  • Strong track record of delivering measurable business outcomes and realizing acquisition synergies.
