Your expertise will be instrumental in designing the next generation of our messaging pricing engine to support dynamic models, strategic product bundles, and flexible deal structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecting for Commercial Strategy: Act as the subject matter expert on how the pricing architecture can support the business. Translate complex requirements from deal-making and commercial strategy into technical and architectural solutions, ensuring the platform design enables flexible price positioning and custom deal structures.

  • Inform Design with Competitive Analysis: Build and maintain a strong point of view on competitor pricing and capabilities, ensuring this intelligence informs the design of our pricing systems.

  • Pricing Model & Rate Card Design: Translate advanced business requirements into technical specifications, including models that incorporate multi-product bundles and discounts. Guide the development of client rate cards.

  • System Integration & Impact Analysis: Define and document critical integration points and data flows between our pricing platforms, cost management systems, the mediation layer, and services influencing message routing.

  • Drive Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with Go-To-Market, Sales, Product, and Finance to build relationships and insights about each commercial environment, ensuring solutions meet strategic objectives.

  • Proven Track Record in System Design: A history of designing, implementing, or managing complex pricing or transaction engines, with direct experience enabling product bundles and cross-sell promotions.

  • Deep Technical & Commercial Acumen: A strong understanding of messaging product economics, various messaging pricing models, and the critical influence of routing on profitability.

  • Expertise in Translating Requirements: Demonstrated ability to translate complex business and commercial needs into robust technical and architectural requirements for engineering teams.

  • Exceptional Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to partner with and advise senior business and technical stakeholders.

  • Transformation Leadership: Experience operating as a subject matter expert or lead business analyst on large-scale, cross-functional projects.

  • Experience in integrating pricing tools with Go-To-Market systems (e.g., CRM, CPQ).
  • Knowledge of cost modeling and data mediation within high-volume transaction environments.
  • Direct experience with or a strong understanding of AI/ML applications for optimizing both pricing and routing decisions.
