Your Role at Baxter
This position will perform the technical implementation of Baxter Care Communications products. Your duties will include software, hardware, and network and implementation activities, advanced IT tasks (network design and topology, network integrations, etc.), and to provide oversight, training and direction to 3rd party contractor implementation activities.

You will work closely with other members of the Implementation Team including Project Managers, Educational Services, and Sales to ensure customer satisfaction through the implementation process.
This role requires the candidates to be based in the greater Northwest due to the travel throughout required.
What you will be doing:
Organize and lead multiple project implementations in a healthcare environment.
Lead network architecture, system fail-over, and other technical system design discussions with customer IT, MIS or biomed departments, installation contractors, and other trades as required.
Implement all installations per protocols.
Manage and perform installation of Baxter Care Communications and their partners’ applications/systems.
Provide Tier 3 support for customer though our support organization.
Complete, post, and update system, network and server documentation in compliance with SOP, work instructions, standard processes and to ensure successful support of the system.
Provide continuous improvement feedback both written and verbal to improve products and processes.
Contribute to improvements and apply internal tools such CRM, knowledge base, helpcenter, etc.
Demonstrates a pro-active approach towards safety, health, and quality in compliance with all company, governmental and customer regulations.
Consistency to all company policies and procedures.
What you will bring:
Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required or equivalent experience of a minimum of 3+ years of related server/network engineer.
Advanced understanding of deploying and supporting Microsoft Windows platforms, SQL, IIS server and associated networked systems.
Server administration experience with Linux server environments
Detailed knowledge of common network protocols / architecture (TCP/IP, IP routing, the OSI model, VLAN) and their relevant security issues
Willing and able to travel approximately 25%; however, when business necessitates, travel can be 100% and on short notice. May be required to work weekends or after hours to meet customer needs.
Understanding of project management fundamentals and demonstrated history of performing projects.
Ability to lead small teams with diverse technical skills during implementations as needed
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and have a valid driver’s license.
Candidates should possess strong oral, written communication skills to resolve complex network and server related issues into practical concepts for customers to understand.
Maintain a professional image and demonstrates a willingness to contribute at all levels.
Perform complex research, analysis, and solve; and resolve critical problems over sustained time durations in a logical manner.
Experience configuring, setting up, and debugging PC-based systems.
Preferred Certifications in the following:
Cisco certifications: CCNA, CCDP or CCNP, CWLS, CWNA,
Wireless certifications: CWNE, CWNP, CWSP, AWLAT, MNAWS, MNAWP, MNCE,
General certifications: MCSE or MCSA, Network+, Security +
At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
