About the OpportunityThe Senior HR Generalist leads employee relations and benefits administration while providing comprehensive HR support across the organization. This role serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, ensuring consistent policy application, regulatory compliance, and alignment with organizational goals in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This position reports to the HR Supervisor.
ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations (Primary Focus)
- Lead and manage complex employee relations matters including investigations, performance management, corrective action, conflict resolution, and terminations.
- Conduct thorough, unbiased workplace investigations and document findings.
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee performance, policy interpretation, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies and employment law compliance.
- Partner with leadership to foster a culture of trust, accountability, and engagement.
- Identify trends in employee relations issues and recommend proactive solutions.
Benefits Administration
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries.
- Administer health, welfare, retirement, and leave programs.
- Coordinate open enrollment, benefits communications, and employee education.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws including FMLA, ADA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
- Partner with brokers and vendors to resolve escalated issues.
- Audit benefit enrollments and deductions for accuracy.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain and optimize HRIS processes (Dayforce experience preferred).
- Support payroll, onboarding, offboarding, and employee data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Assist with policy development and updates.
- Support audits and reporting requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations.
- Demonstrated experience conducting workplace investigations.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements.
- Experience administering employee benefits programs.
- Strong documentation and case management skills.
- Excellent communication, discretion, and judgment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare industry experience.
- Experience with Dayforce HRIS.
- Experience supporting multi-site operations.

Range: $80,000-$95,000
