Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for day-to-day support across the Americas region.

Full Job Description
The HR Generalist, Americas is a member of the Regional HR organization and serves as a primary HR resource for employees and managers across the U.S., Canada, and Brazil.

This senior-level role provides practical, day-to-day support across employee relations, policies, leaves and accommodations, HR programs, organizational changes, compliance, and the employee lifecycle. You'll partner closely with HRBPs and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver consistent programs while bringing regional context and employee needs into execution.

Based in either our Denver, CO, or Austin, TX office, this position follows a hybrid work schedule, with an expectation of regular onsite presence based on business and team needs.

Key Responsibilities

Employee & Manager Support

  • Serve as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR questions, concerns, and escalations across the Americas region (U.S., Canada, and Brazil).
  • Manage employee relations matters and investigations for the region, escalating to HR leadership, Legal, or other partners as appropriate.
  • Guide employees and managers through policies, leaves, accommodations, and other workplace matters in partnership with the appropriate COE teams.


Regional HR Programs & Change

  • Partner on the delivery of HR programs across the Americas, including performance and compensation cycles, benefits open enrollment, and engagement initiatives, providing regional coordination, communications, and guidance to employees and managers.
  • Support organizational changes and employee transitions, partnering with leaders and HR colleagues on planning, documentation, communications, coordination, and implementation.


HR Partnership & Regional Insights

  • Serve as a regional voice to HRBPs and COEs, sharing employee and manager feedback and identifying where regional nuance may affect how programs are delivered.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruiting activities, including interview processes and candidate experience.
  • Partner with Total Rewards on compensation, leveling, benefits, and related employee questions.
  • Partner with HR Operations/HRIS to maintain accurate employee data, organizational structures, and reporting.
  • Partner with People Development/L&D on manager development and regional training delivery.


People Insights & Engagement

  • Provide regional people insights and data to support workforce planning, attrition analysis, and organizational discussions.
  • Track and report relevant regional people metrics and trends, including attrition and engagement, to HR leadership.


Culture & Site Engagement

  • Partner with local leaders to support site engagement, recognition, and employee experience initiatives in Denver and Austin, and across the broader Americas region as appropriate.


Compliance & Audit Support

  • Help maintain compliance with regional HR requirements, including statutory leave requirements, mandatory training, and employment-related policy updates, escalating changes or risks as appropriate.
  • Support compliance filings and statutory reporting as required across the Americas, including I-9/E-Verify requirements in the U.S. and applicable requirements in Canada and Brazil.
  • Support ISO audit reviews and related requests.
  • Maintain employee records in line with applicable data privacy and recordkeeping requirements across the Americas.


Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including hands-on generalist support for employees and managers in the U.S.; experience supporting Canada and/or Brazil is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of an HRIS platform (UKG, Workday, SuccessFactors, or equivalent), with the ability to enter and update data and run reports independently.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment practices and requirements, including leaves and accommodations, work authorization, and data privacy; familiarity with Canada and/or Brazil is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive HR matters accurately and consistently.
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential employee information.
  • Organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent employee matters, transactions, and priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate effectively with employees and managers at all levels.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in SaaS, aerospace, or global, multi-entity organizations.
  • Familiarity with employment compliance and data privacy requirements across the Americas.
  • Experience supporting compensation, benefits, and payroll-related processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus


Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well market and business considerations: Summary Pay Range: $122,000-$150,000
