Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, preferably in Power Engineering.
• 5-7+ years of experience in project engineering, EPC, construction management, or commissioning within the power industry.
• Hands-on experience with high-voltage utility substations, switchyards, and transmission systems.
• Strong grasp of battery energy storage fundamentals and their market implications.
• Familiarity with ISO/RTO commissioning requirements and LGIA/PPA frameworks.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, MS Project, and SharePoint.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time across project sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical deliverables for design, construction, and commissioning of utility-scale BESS projects.
• Provide oversight for high-voltage substation, switchyard, and transmission system commissioning.
• Support negotiation and execution of interconnection agreements (LGIA).
• Lead the development of RFQ/RFP packages for EPC contractors and engineering consultants.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Transmission, Interconnection, Procurement, and Development teams.
• Travel to project sites for on-site presence (approximately 30%).
• Engage in stakeholder discussions regarding ERCOT, MISO, SPP, and PJM queue reform and policy.
