Key job responsibilities
- Own and maintain the supply commit for your assigned AWS service, serving as the single source of truth for supply availability and supportability against the S&OP demand plan.
- Confirm supply is positioned at the right place and right time, proactively identifying gaps and driving cross-functional actions to resolve them with urgency.
- Hold internal and external teams accountable to supply commitments while continuously working to improve commits to meet or exceed demand requirements.
- Translate supply availability data into clear, actionable schedules, priorities, and status updates communicated to multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner closely with service teams to deeply understand demand requirements and ensure supply chain strategies are aligned to service-level needs.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable analytical tools, dashboards, and metrics that drive key decisions and resource prioritization.
- Serve as a key member of the AWS Infrastructure supply chain team in helping to define and deliver complex supply chain strategies.
- Produce written recommendations and insights for key stakeholders to help shape solution design.
- Handle multiple projects at once, deal with ambiguity, and manage rapidly-changing priorities.
A day in the life
This is a service-facing role, meaning you will be the dedicated supply chain owner for a specific AWS service - the single source of truth for supply commits and supportability against the S&OP demand plan. You are accountable for ensuring supply is available at the right place and right time, and for driving the actions needed to close gaps, hold teams accountable to the supply commit, and continuously improve commits to meet demand needs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of related industry experience
- 2+ years of program, project or product management, or leading product implementation experience
- 8+ years of data analysis using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies
- Experience in negotiations with global suppliers with a proven track record in cost reduction
- Experience in procurement practices working with engineering, supply chain and Tier 1 OEM partners
- Experience practicing best-in-class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, or equivalent)
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
