CSSI is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full UI/UX Stack Software Engineer to support the design, development, modernization, integration, and maintenance of mission-critical applications supporting transportation and operational safety programs. The successful candidate will leverage modern web technologies, cloud-native architectures, and software engineering best practices to develop scalable solutions that enhance operational performance and decision-making. The role requires strong experience across front-end development, cloud platforms, application integration, and Agile software development.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience developing modern web applications.
- Experience working throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience supporting production systems and enterprise applications.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card Permanent Resident (minimum 3+ years of U.S. residency) and Public Trust approval
Required Technical Skills:Front End Development
- Experience developing web applications using React, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, FIGMA and CSS3.
- Experience building responsive user interfaces and reusable components.
- Experience integrating visualization and reporting tools into web applications.
Cloud and DevOps
- Experience designing and deploying applications within AWS environments.
- Experience with AWS Lambda, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, S3, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience automating software deployments and system operations.
Software Engineering
- Object-oriented design and development.
- Data structures and design patterns.
- Unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Code reviews and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
- Application performance optimization and troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications:- AWS Developer Associate certification.
- AWS Solutions Architect certification.
- AWS DevOps certification.
- Experience with enterprise modernization initiatives.
- Experience supporting transportation, aviation, federal government, or safety-related systems.
- Experience with Tableau integration and data visualization platforms.
