Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to support the Information Technology organization. This role serves as a key business partner to IT leaders by providing financial planning, forecasting, business case analysis, and strategic decision support across infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, software, and digital transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines strong FP&A experience with the ability to translate technology investments into financial and operational outcomes. This position will play a critical role in annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, project funding reviews, and executive reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
  • Lead annual budget development and quarterly forecast processes for IT operating and capital expenditures.
  • Develop and maintain detailed bottoms-up budgets for technology departments.
  • Analyze month-end results and explain variances to budget and forecast.
  • Partner with IT leaders to identify risks and opportunities impacting spending plans.
  • Maintain monthly headcount data and analyze vs budget
Project & Investment Analysis
  • Evaluate business cases for technology investments, including infrastructure upgrades, cybersecurity initiatives, cloud migrations, POS solutions, and enterprise system implementations.
  • Track approved projects against financial commitments and benefits realization targets.
  • Support governance committees and investment review boards.
  • Ensure proper capitalization of technology projects in accordance with company accounting policies.
  • Facilitate monthly accrual process for projects in North America alongside the Fixed Assets team.
Business Partnership
  • Act as a trusted financial advisor to IT directors, managers, and project managers.
  • Translate complex financial information into actionable business insights.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis for executive leadership.
  • Present analysis on monthly basis to both finance and IT leadership.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and financial modeling.
  • Experience managing large or complex departmental budgets.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Information Technology.
  • Knowledge of technology financial management principles.
  • Understanding of capitalization accounting requirements.
  • Experience with Anaplan, Power BI, or similar systems.
