Position Title: Sr FMS IAMD Analyst

Location: Redstone Arsenal

Position Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:

Serve as an IAMD subject-matter expert supporting international defense cooperation and security assistance activities. Provide expertise on IAMD concepts, architectures, capabilities, systems, and operational considerations to support program decisions and engagements with U.S. and international stakeholders. Support executive-level briefings and engagements with senior government officials, military leaders, industry representatives, and foreign partners, communicating complex IAMD capabilities and programmatic information clearly and effectively. Support the International Programs Office in responding to foreign partner requirements, including Requests for Information (RFI), Price and Availability (P&A), Letters of Request (LOR), Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA), and other programmatic requirements. Analyze international partner requirements and assist in identifying appropriate IAMD capabilities, acquisition approaches, program considerations, and potential impacts. Support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and other international defense cooperation activities involving IAMD capabilities. Provide technical and programmatic input to assessments of cost, schedule, performance, requirements, resources, risks, and program execution. Support program planning and integration across engineering, acquisition, testing, contracting, logistics, financial management, fielding, and sustainment activities. Monitor program and project status, milestones, schedules, actions, and dependencies; identify potential issues and coordinate appropriate follow-up. Conduct program management, technical, and business case analyses and develop recommendations for senior leadership. Support the preparation of executive-level briefings, decision-support products, reports, and other program documentation. Participate in program reviews, working groups, meetings, boards, and other PMO forums; coordinate agendas, briefing materials, action items, and follow-up requirements. Coordinate with government and contractor personnel across multiple functional areas to facilitate timely completion of program and organizational requirements. Serve as a knowledgeable interface between technical experts, program managers, senior leadership, and international stakeholders. Support short-, mid-, and long-range planning activities related to IAMD programs and international partner requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, science, business, management, or a related discipline. 10+ years of relevant experience supporting U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Army, or defense industry programs.

Significant professional experience and demonstrated technical understanding of Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD/AIMD). Strong understanding of air and missile defense capabilities, systems, architectures, and operational concepts. Demonstrated ability to apply IAMD subject-matter expertise to complex programmatic, technical, and operational issues. Experience working with or supporting U.S. Army or Department of Defense acquisition programs. Experience working across multiple functional areas, such as program management, engineering, acquisition, testing, logistics, contracting, financial management, or sustainment. Demonstrated experience developing and delivering briefings to senior government, military, industry, or international audiences. Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate program requirements, cost, schedule, performance, resources, risks, and execution. Experience communicating complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established suspenses. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and exercise sound judgment in addressing complex issues. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across organizational and functional boundaries. Ability to work onsite, up to full time, depending on client requirements. Ability to travel periodically in support of program meetings, working groups, briefings, and engagements with international partners. An active SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain the clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

Master's degree in a relevant field. Experience with Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS), PATRIOT, Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD), Forward Area Air Defense (FAAD), or other IAMD capabilities. Experience supporting international IAMD programs or foreign military partners. Demonstrated experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) processes and security assistance. Experience responding to international partner requirements, including LORs, RFIs, P&As, and LOAs. Experience supporting multinational defense cooperation or international acquisition programs. Experience working directly with foreign military organizations, international partners, or allied nations. Experience with U.S. Army acquisition, requirements, planning, programming, budgeting, and execution processes. Experience providing technical or programmatic advice to senior military or civilian leadership. Program or project management certification. Experience working within a Program Executive Office (PEO), Project Management Office (PMO), or comparable defense organization.
