About the Role:
We are seeking a Sr Financial Analyst SG&A and IT, for an outstanding opportunity in our corporate office in Oak Brook, IL. This role will work in a dynamic environment as the Finance and Accounting liaison across Treehouse IT functions and work closely with the Chief Information Officer and other IT leaders to build and manage critical IT budgets across multiple areas and cost centers. This role will focus on executing the entire finance and accounting process as it relates to IT, along with ownership of capital projects, development of business cases, and teaming with the IT function as a financial liaison. Accounting month-end close, financial forecasting, and the development of the annual operating plan and long-term strategic plan are key components to this role. Responsibilities will expand to other areas of SG&A and Center costs with primary focus on IT.
You’ll add value to this role through the following, but not limited to:
- Partner with THS management and Finance/Accounting Leadership to manage IT financial initiatives (spend, capital, other investments) to the optimal level that supports the implementation of the TreeHouse Strategy.
- Partner with the IT function on investment decisions through the development of robust business cases to ensure the best use of the Company’s capital.
- Partner with the Sr. Manager Finance – SG&A and Corp Costs and IT personnel to execute the capital investment/prepaid process related to all IT projects including post implementation audits on costs and returns.
- Develop the use of process-specific, value-based metrics.
- Execute the month-end processes, including the journal entry process and utilization of BPC for standardized / ad-hoc management reporting and variance analysis.
- Partner with IT executives to develop financial forecasts for all IT cost centers.
- Facilitate, along with the Sr. Manager Finance – SG&A and Corp Costs, the IT portion of the Annual Operating Plan and Long-Term Strategic Plan including capital investments and associated amortization, overhead planning, and multi-year project implementations including the deep dive into data analytics and modeling.
- Represent IT in any projects related to SG&A budgeting, forecasting, and reporting vs. actuals
- Manage multiple consulting relationships simultaneously.
- Advance a continuous improvement mentality throughout the finance and IT function.
- Report to leadership on a regular basis on financial results, outlooks, and other ad hoc projects as they arise.
- Team with Shared Services resources to ensure completion of tasks based on a set calendar including; cost center expense analysis, invoice management including processing, tracking, validation, accrual, and reconciliation, timesheet validation and overhead management.

- This is a full-time hybrid role based in Oak Brook, Illinois.
- The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $78,700.00 - $118,100.00 USD annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics and business or organizational needs. For certain roles, the successful candidate may be eligible for annual discretionary merit compensation award, bonus and equity pay.
You’ll fit right in if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. CPA/MBA is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of month-end accounting processes and financial forecasting.
- 3 or more years of accounting and financial forecasting experience (IT environment preferred).
- Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently on multiple projects.
- Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity, change, and a dynamic business environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; enjoy investigating problems and coming up with solutions.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Confidentiality required due to knowledge of highly sensitive information.
- ERP (SAP), Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) or Hyperion experience is preferred.
